Our first visit to Roda in Aug 2014,we stayed at Roda Garden Village it was lovely, even though we were all inclusive we ate out a few times we liked Barden Acharavi, and the Grill Restaurant Roda both great food also enjoyed a cold beer at the Boat House! We have already booked to go again next year can not wait to return.

We visited Roda for the first time this year, and loved it!

The weather, food and people are brilliant!
We meet so many lovely people, Lisa and Alex in Smileys, and their Greek dancing nights are the highlight of our holiday.
Roda is very pretty, and still very Greek even though there are bars and a couple of english pubs.
The only problem we had was that we went half board, and the food in our hotel, Silver Beach, was very poor.
I will def be visiting Roda again, but i would go self catering.

Roda is a lovely place filled with great places to eat, a variety of entertainment and food types (loads of excellent traditional greek palces) for everyone.  IF you don't want the enertainment provided  in an odd few places go next door lol . The people are great, can't do enough to help you, children are loved and welcomed everywhere, the beach and pools are clean and safe, it's a compact resort nowhere is far from anyhere in Roda. I have been going on holiday there for the last 17 years and can't imagine going anywhere else, it calls you back, its like home to me.

Roda is a very basic village, nothing special to be honest. The Bar/Pub entertainment is laughable. Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart etc are a joke. Time to sack the crap and put some effort into bringing Greece back to life guys!!

My first time on Corfu this year. We stayed at the Pegasus Hotel in Roda - fantastic! Roda was a lovely, friendly resort with plenty of great tavernas and restaurants. Our favourites include: Oscars, Smileys, Crusoes, Pirates, Estrella, Aphrodite Ballroom and 'the kind hearted place' . A fantastic holiday.

Returned yesterday from Roda having stayed at the Elizabeth apts which we would highly recommend. The resort was bustling although some of the tavernas and hotels were closed. The locals were so friendly and welcoming. Roda is a lovely resort for young families. Our two children aged 7 and 5 loved the Go Karts and also the bouncy castle/ soft play area at Nemo's. The latter is free if you are having a drink at Nemo's...try a frappe, they are delicious. Totally disagree with the other comment that Roda is dead.We drove through Sidari and kept driving! If you want a resort that has a strong English flavour and has been robbed of its "Greekness" then go to Sidari. If you would like a friendly, authentic Greek holiday then go to Roda.

  Hi
Just returned from Roda enjoyed the holiday as usual the people are so friendly felt sorry for them as everywhere was really quiet .Hotels and restaurants closing down all over.
Once again the best place to eat was Maggie's tried other places but kept going back, but even a place as popular as that has been affected she no longer opens for breakfast and it was so well known for it.
Hope people carry on going and supporting the locals.

Just back after two weeks of sun, sand, food, drink and the rest!!!!  Great place highly recommend it.  Stayed at the Silver Beach which was really nice.  Staff were great especially our cleaner.

The Roda Crown is definately the bar to go to.  Christine and Albie gave us the biggest welcome in the whole of Roda and looked after us.  Whatever you drink they will get it in.  Try the Rosie and Albies French Kiss!!!

Loads of restaurants and pubs to go to.  All the meals were great and really cheap.  Never ate in the same place twice either!!!  Breakfast at Pirates is a must!!!  The best by far. It sets you up for the day and the staff are really friendly.

Don't do the trips with the reps as they were a not worth the money Speak to Albie and Chris they will point you in the right direction.

Apart from that we had a ball.  Its not in your face like some resorts it has enough of everything. Beach is lovely and clean. Will be back in the future.

I love Roda it's the 1 place to go i will be deffinetly be going again in the future. I would like to reccommend Makis Stu/App hes a generous man who always has a smile on his face. Mrs.Maki is a hard working lady who gardens and cleans everday. The cleaner Pamla does all she can and would do anything to help make you the happiest you could ever be.Give all three of them respect and the will give back. that is how the chain goes...-dont break it!

I don't know Roda that well, but have been through it, i work in Ipsos for the summer months and we have Darren as an entertainer one night a week at dirty nellies.

He is based in Roda and very good so check him out for some good entertainment.

Chaz B

Roda is a wonderful place.me and my mum came here for a week holiday. It was our first time in corfu and we stayed in the silver beach hotel. which i must warn people about- do NOT stay in this hotel. If you look at the photos on the internet by some companys you will see beautiful rooms. This is a lie. If you do stay at the hotel get a top floor room as that is were the new rooms are. If you are on the 2nd or bottom floor then you are not in for a very nice stay!     the money we payed wasnt for a buget holiday, if we had payed cheap then we would have thought okay this is what you get on buget holidays but we payed full price and expected more. The rooms are bedsits. Nothing nice or clean about them. lets just say we slept with the light on!! we had to ask for hot water numerous times. The staff are also unpleasent.     We did find a good bar which kept us out late so we didnt have to go back to the room of horrors. The mistral. They have excellent music and karoke. The staff are mad and you can just have a laugh all night. There are quizzes, bingo. I would come back here again it is a lovely place.

Paul A

i thought i would add a little bit more.the long haired lothario is a barman who works nites at the aphrodite.hes got a mad slicked back haircut and u can tell hes ultra smooth wiv the ladies.also go and see helen along the front nr the roda inn hotel for her day trip excursions.we went on the james bond cruise and it was a really good day, well worth 20 euros.top place would defo go again

Paul A

just got back from roda.2nd time in 3 months, went with girlfriend 1st,then thought we would go back with my mum and dad.really nice place, plenty to do for a small place and generally very nice people.stayed at the aphrodite both times, apart from moody breakfast staff very good, especially the "long haired lothario"who worked the bar at nite.alot of good restaraunts especially roda park, compass italian,to name a few.if your after a bit of music darren may always a goodnite at bennys bar.would defo go again and would recommend to anyone after a peaceful relaxing holiday with some good nitelife thrown in

Lynda M

Loved our two week break in Roda.  By far the nicest resort.   Nice people.   Enjoyed Roxannes Bar - Nicos hospitality and excellent shots. Enjoyed Crusoes quiz nights which we never won!!!!  Excellent restaurants and beaches.  Sorry we had to leave, and can't wait to go back.
