Our absolute favourite restauarant in Sidari, great atmosphere, excellent service, huge portions of delicious food (especially the homemade chips!), thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the only restaurant we ate in twice.
This is a lovely place to eat in. I had steak and kidney pie meal and it was sooooooooo nice. Drink prices were reasonable.
Just got back from Sidari, discovered the roof garden and ended up booking to go back a couple of times. Had to book table as there were ten of us and its not a very big restaurant, however plate sizes are big, and we all struggled to eat everything. Had to leave room for a desert as never seen deserts like it. Kids loved the chocolate fudge cake and cheesecake which were served on a plate large enough to eat your main meal off. Service was excellent, so this was our favourite eating establishment overall.
We've just returned from a week in Sidari and ate at the Roof Garden four times.
The food was, without exception, terrific quality.
The portions were more than ample, everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were polite, friendly and often humorous.
We found the meals to be excellent value bearing in mind the high quality of food and portion size.
Aside from the obvious culinary delights, the big pluses are the "no PR" aspect: no-one stands on the door hassling you to come in... you can stand and read the menu without someone pressuring you (aside from the desperate from the restaurant guy next door!). There's also the wonderful beach view... the sunsets are beautiful and there's really no better way to end the day.
The food here at the roof garden is quite good. I had gammon steak with pineapple and that was nice. My family thought is was really good. always go there for a meal it's no problem.
The meal started ok with a mixed starter of potatoe skins, onion rings etc but that was the highlight of the meal!!
In one word - fantastic. I had spaghetti napolitan and I have to say it was the most gorgeous pasta dish I have ever eaten. Food was hot and in very good sized portions. The restaurant itself was very quiet and peaceful with stunning views, and good service.
alot better this year than last year, had a mixed grill served on a huge silver platter it was top nosh - lovely
We go back to Sidari quite alot and would not go any where else to eat .Leighan the owner is very good and keeps everyone on busy. The food is excellent huge portions served hot and appetising to your table.
The restuarant is always busy so we always reserve a table overlooking the beach for fantastic sunsets, service is always with a smile and prompt.Try the stuffed peppers they are delicious.See you all soon.
The setting is lovely (glad there's no PRs on the door), good fast, friendly service, good value for money (the plates are HUGE!). The beef Stamna was good, the Pastitstada was OK, it was better elsewhere. There are lovely views, especially at sunset. One to try.
Again another fantastic holiday in Sidari, we again ate in the Roof Garden 12 of our 14 nights, the other was spent in the sister restaurant the Rose garden, The breakfasts are huge and the smoothy's fantastic. The evening meals were as good as ever, fantastic food and service, huge portions and a stunning view of the sun setting
The Best Restaurant in Sidari, we had a Fussy 7 year old with us and he wanted to eat here for every meal, Leanne and the staff are brilliant, ( even reserved us a table when it was busy in case we came in!), the food is excellent ( the mixed Grill is superb), the service is excellent, the prices are brilliant ant the view is stunning, we will be back!.
Had breakfast in here first day of our holiday this year, and it was awful, the beans were cold and there was a hair in mine! It was a surprise as we had eaten in here before several years earlier and the food was fantastic, but after that breakfast we did not go back to find out what the evening meals were like!
while your in sidari why not try the sister resturant the rose garden and the pub hte red lion all top class food ex in all of them why eat elsewhere when you can have the best in the roof garden, the rose garden and the red lion all within 8 mins of each other!!!!!
I would recommend going here the food is brilliant, the service is fantastic and the views looking ou to sea and the beach are brill but i wouldn't recommend going when it was really windy like we did because it's freezing sat near the covers!!!
Must make it your first stop breakfast, lunch and dinner are excellent, the paltes are huge 13inch and full, beef stamna is superb as were every dish I tried, I am achef and are nit easily plesaed but we ate here 5 of the 7 nights and every breakfast, food does take a while to arrive as they were packed every night, but hey you are on holiday and who's in a rush. Simply fantastic on all points
it is ran by a very friendly team we have been eating in there now for the past 3 year and we will be again in june why go else where to be ripped off when u know the food is fab and service is fab too
Fantastic! Stunning views, delicious food with good prices, excellent service and PHWOAH what a sexy manager that Spiros is...
I LOVED IT!!!!! ive worked in this resort for over 2 years now, so surely my opinion must count for something?? this restaurant is by far one of the best place to eat in the resort. they serve english, greek, italian etc food on massive 13" plates, and if they havent got what you want they'll try their hardest to do it for you. i found the staff pleasent & friendly and the portions massive (take my advice- dont bother with a starter, you wont need it). i loved this restaurant & introduced all my co workers to it. when you get there be sure to make it your first port of call, because youre sure to want to go more than once.
Nice atmosphere, and gosh, such big plates!!!! Very good value for money, if you are skint at the end of your holiday (as we were), go and eat there - and you don't have to think about food for two days.
Even if you are an adult, be cheekey and ask for a helium balloon. It's advertising, but it's free.
We also liked the fact that there's nobody at the door to drag you in, but even so the place is always packed. Begs the question...
Some of the best food we ate all holiday!
Meze was so filling I nearly couldn't eat the main course! Tuna pasta gets top marks! Steak was beautiful. Staff very friendly and can't do enough for you. It's very popular so you will need to book if you want to eat around 8pm, nearer 9pm should not be too bad but we were there 1st 2 weeks September. The food does take longer to come through beacuse they are so busy, but in my opinion it's worth the wait.
Same people own Rose Garden and Red Lion.
ate hear twice and were lucky to get in it was nearly always fully booked!don't understand why as it was the same as any other restaurant! didn't eat in sister restaurant rose garden as that too was always full! had to wait a while for food too
It was ok. Views were great. Not tyhe best but worth a look if your their for a week.
Can't comment on the evening/lunch meals but we thought the roof garden was excellent for breakfasts. Recommend the Gutbuster breakfast if you're very hungry. The 13" plate is full!! Good value for money, with friendly staff.
The Roof Garden & the Rose garden are the best places to eat in Sidari. The food, especially the tuna pasta, & service are both great. Also as it overlooks the beach, you can also watch the sun go down whilst you eat!
