Absolutely loved the food. My husband and I ate here nearly every day.

The Beef Stifado is the best I tried my whole holiday.
The full english breakfast was also the best that we tried in the whole resort (and believe me we tried a few)!
Please give this place a try, I can promise you won't be disappointed.

The food is awful. My dad had a steak and he woke up and had bad bellyache and diroaherra. I had chesseburger and chips and it wasn't all that. I thought it was foul. even my whole family thought that. Never go there.Cry.

Just returned from Sidari. We ate at the Salt & Pepper twice during our 2 week stay. Both times the food was excellent. We had the fried sole, the lamb kleftiko, sea bream and  the swordfish. The place is family run and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Each time we received the free spicy pork dish as we were waiting for our meals.
The prices were reasonable and this was one of our favourite places to eat in Sidari.

Must try this place at least once - we went 4 nights out of 7.

Special offers were great, food plentiful and free starter (pork in a spicy sauce) and plenty of local wine could'nt ask for more

This was an excellent restaurant.

The waiting staff are so friendly - they aim to please - giving us a taster of some traditional greek food complimentary when we sat at our table which was a lovely toucd.

The barbequed chicken and bacon skewers were delicious!

have to say I dont understand the negative comments we have been coming to Sidari since 1996 - staying that time just a short walk from salt and pepper and ate most of our meal there - which were great. Have been since twice a year and still use this resturant - have never been dissapointed - huge breakfast - Give it a try!!!!!!!

Excellent food and service, reasonable prices.

Just bk from Sidari after 5 yrs of going.Ate at Salt & Pepper nearly every night . Was our daughters birthday whilst there and they made a big fuss of her and even gave us a bottle of bubbly free. Previoius comments about Moussaka heated in microwave, if this meal had of been cooked from scratch you would have been whining about having to wait 2 hours. I think you would find it hard to find any restaurant without a microwave. Booked to go bk next year and I know where we will be eating most nights. They do a wicked Kleftiko.

I also tried this restaurant whilst on holiday June 2003, this has to be one of the worst restaurants I hae ever encountered whilst holidaying in Greece.
The food was very poor, the prices were cheap, but when the food is this bad you are certainly better off paying a few extra Euro and going to a decent restaurant. The menu catered soley for the British. It is something when you go to a Greek restaurant and the English food is better than the Greek food !
I recommend you stay away from this restaurant.
In conclusion very very very poor.

After reading the recommendations on this site we tried the salt n pepper. I ordered a moussaka which was heated up in a microwave and looked and tasted very much like lasagne.
The food is cheap and British, if like us you go to Greece to experience their culture and cuisine then dont go within one mile of this place.

my partner and i went to sidari in june 2001 and met a lovely scotish family who recomened salt and pepper .its the best place in the town to get a full english breakfast and its cheap as chips.

Been going to Sidari for 4 years and were so lucky to discover Salt and Pepper the first year. We eat there most nights and have never been disappointed with the food there. Have to agree with other comments about it the staff cant do enough for you, and fuss over the children and serve ice cream with sparklers for them. Going back in June 2003 and will be eating there every night.

great place to eat out at we tried as much of the menu as was possible during our stay and couldnt fault it t-bone steak filled the size of the plate served with a variety of veg lemon sole was also delicious, peppered steak, rice dishes a plenty, salads, and icecream desserts to die for the service was excellent as the staff are all eager to please, nothing is a trouble to them, they will put themselves out to acommidate a large party so that your seated together and they are especially patient with children, try a breakfast in there you wont be disappointed and you will never leave there hungry! All this and at the most reasonable prices we found.give it a try.

came here august 200, but saw it on the website and thought we'd write a comment. Great food- cant fault it. Did great red house wine- but white... (probably better left alone). Sam (one of the owners (looked like Barney Rubble) gave the kids ice ceam after their meals for free. we were travelling as a party of 9, us and one other family and they moved tables around so we could all sit together and gave each family 2 bottles of white (groan!) wine 2 take home at the end of our holidays. Fantastic fun was had by us all here- we would recommend it to anyone visiting sidari.
