TAM CRUISE (10TH JULY- 17TH JULY)
we went for our evening meal was great, we went with a couple from our hotel the bloke had the tower burger it is massive cant belive how big. my bf had the mixed grill was MASSIVE but e eat it all. all the meals look big and all four we had was really nice defo recommend
This is def the best resurant in Kavos. We ate here three times while we were there last week. The staff were really friendly and always waved an said he when we walked by in the day time. They did offers on meals 3 courses for 9.50. The nachos for starter were a big portion and the garlic bread was nice. The chiken fajitas were my fave. I had them twice. Also the texicili chicken which a few of my friend had they loved it. Me and my boyfriend have tried to find a recipe for it as he liked it so much but cant find one anywhere. Wish we had asked them for it. Another friend had cajun steak which was huge. Twice the size of a steak u get here. He was full after half of it but ate it all cos it was so nice. On our last night when we went here we wanted deserts from the main menu and not the specials menu so they let us have them for just an extra euro each which we thought was so nice of them. Also u have to try the milkshakes there. Yum!! The best thing was after ur meal instead of mints they give u each a shot of sex on the beach. A great way to finish a meal The Greek dancing and plate smashing was a laugh. If ur going to Kavos make sure u eat here at least once!!
This was where we ate most nights!! The food is excellent and the staff are really friendly!! All english!! Had so many laughs in here mainly trying to squeeze 11 of us round a few tables!! Look out for the riddles on the back of the desserts menu!! Lovely!! Best restaurant in Kavos!!
We went to Kavos and went to Penny's because it was the busiest restaurant, so we wanted to see what the fuss was about. The food was incredible, we had steak pie one day, chicken enchiladas another, there was a group of 12 of us, we all loved it and were back there everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'd recommend Penny's as a safe place to eat as its busy, and the service was polite and fast.
Penny's Kitchen is amazing! The food was yummy and the portions fairly big! The Coke was more like Rola Cola and the milkshakes were lumpy! Even so, was the best place for eats to start the day off with!
Are you people mad??? Penny's kitchen was awful! The drinks werre warm, the services was slow as hell, and there was this offer of 3 courses for 8.5 euros, but you had to pick of a specific menu. Me and mty mate decided to have things off this menu and pay full price. The waitress said she'd let us off and we could have it for 8.5 euros, but when she brought us the bill she charged us full price anyway! The main course was mining and undercooked, and I asked for cheescake for dessert while my mate asked fr crepes. They didn't have any cheesecake, so she brought 2 plates of crepes without even asking me what I wanted (I hate crepes). Please do not go here unless you wat to be put in a bad mood and have food poisoning.
food was yum and really good value!there was a good selection 2 which was good 4 my fussy mate, haha!!! if any workers r reading this thanx 4 helping me when i fainted, u should all be nurses :o) x x
We stayed in Kavos 24.5.04 to 7.6.04 and ate at Penny's kitchen every night. The menu was so extensive we had a different meal every night and never had the same meal twice. Every meal was as good as the last - Billy's cajun salmon and chicken dishes are to die for - so good I asked for the recipe. All the staff were really friendly and Ruth the PR was especially so. We were frequently offered a drink on the house in addition to the complimentary after dinner liqueur. We think that Penny's kitchen is probably the best restaurant in Greece and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kavos. I hope you remember us Billy and Ruth "the lovely couple who sat opposite 42nd street" - Carol 59 and John 66.
Just came back on 14.5.04.Pennys is great, you can eat a three course meal here for ten euros if you try hard! If your on a budget, try the veggie baguette which is three and a half euros and is a huge baguette filled with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese served with big fat chips and salad, and you get a free slammer, and the staff are fabulous!
We ate here a lot, the best deal was the three course meal for 12 Euros, my daughter loved the spag bol, but if your on a budget they do a mean ham cheese and mushroom hot baguette and chips for three euros!
Tried the greek stuff as well, that was lovely, and you get a free shooter and the staff are really friendly!
my boyfriend and i ate there nearly everynite, the food was good quality, very cheap and the staff were polite and helpful, very big meals. u also got a free shot after your meal which was good, would recommend that restaurant to anyone who is going to kavos
Penny's Kitchen does the best Breakfast! We was there every morning for our Fried eggs on toast with beans and it was the best we tasted out there and they butter the bread!!!
Hey All, I need some help. I am going to Kavos staying in the Ionian View Apartments for 17 days. I need to know how much spending money will I need to keep me going. We are all arguing at the moment as to how much we will need and none of us want to be left short as we want this holiday to be the best yet. It will be great if you could help. Thanks
The breakfasts were absolutly brill!! Just like being back home, thats the place to go if your feeling home sick, their meals were good as well especially the special menu where you get a three course meal for 8 euros 50. The staff were really friendly as well!
One of the nicest restaurants we found! Menu is extensive with great opportunities to try some Greek specialities. The service is prompt and friendly. I'd highly reccomend it! Also it takes Visa!
