Just came back from legends apartments 1 sept06

Thoroughly agree with Michael and Barbara, DJ Tigga (Paul to me) was great a fabulous guy to meet and kept everyone thoroughly entertained into the early hours (a few shots later!!). Legends staff were excellent made my holiday complete, Takis (owner very hospitable), Nikos (sexy dark haired bloke) and everyone else you couldn't fault them. Cried my eyes out on the way back to corfu airport.  Did you take any pics of DJ Tigga (my camera broke when i was there and would appreciate a pic of him) you can email me laura@needham1979.freeserve.co.uk. 

how anyone can complain about legends I do not know.on arrival we were greeted by the rep CLAIRE as if we were long  lost friends, what a way to start a holiday. TIGGA the (DJ COME KARAOKE SINGER COME ALLROUND ENTERTAINER) was fab. Rooms staff facilities are all excellent. Hoping to get back to you all soon.

couples and families and would reccomend legends to all rooms were clean pool great, wish i was there and not in rainy england

this is one of the most disgraceful apartment iv ever stayed in!!!! my god the cleanliness is disgusting!!!! the cleaner very abusive and ignorant towards my family!!! we where ment to go in2 legends one but legends 2omg!!!! sewage coming through the taps and toilets electric and everything else about the apartment terrible!!! apart from that staff very nice people!!!!claire the rep brilliant!!!! will come back to sidari but unfortuntly not in2 legends!!!!! tigga the dj hope ur stil rapping!!!! lol!!!! entertainment in legends brilliant!!! very welcoming!!!! xxxxx

Two Liverpool gals been to Sidari 2 years on the run, love it!! Stayed at Legends last year and at Waterpark appartments this year- Legends was better by a mile because of the entertainment at night- well good! We were at Sidari this year 23rd June to 30th and didn't want to come home.  Loved partying every night especially ceasers after 3 when we were joined by DJ Tigga who is the DJ at Legends and is the best DJ by far in Sidari!!  Wish we had stayed at Legends this year but still visited for a drink or 12 ha!  Well jealous of anyone going out now, we went in September last year and was still really good.  Anyone going now please say hi to Tigga for us.

Hi to all the staff at legends!! had the most brilliant two weeks, this was our second time there and all i can say is that you should all give yourselves a big pat on the back, the apartments were lovely, air conditioning was fab!! everything about the holiday was brilliant, booking for next year. Just got back from 2 weeks at Legends.  Lovely apartments, we were just expecting a room with double bed and some cooking facilities in it but there was actually a separate kitchen area and the bedroom was quite large.  Was a bit worried about the road noise but with all the doors shut we could hardly hear anything at all, and the rooms were so cool that we could actually sleep without having the balcony door open or anything.  Even when the door was open I didn't feel like the noise was in any way disturbing.  The pool is quite big and at this time of year getting sun loungers was okay.

 hey me and 3 other mates are coming for a week starting ... well we get there at like 3 in the morning on saturday lol any 24 hour bars open?? we seriously cant wait n hope ur as good as wev been told and read about lol any suggestions on good bars clubs etc etc??? cheers Jonny x

Myself, and five friends went to stay at Legends apartments in July last year for one week. We were really surprised how nice the apartments were, between us we had two apartments, one had two floors, the only complaint we would probs hav the attic type room was too hot for anyone to sleep in.

Hi everyone, Myself and my family including 7 grandchildren ages from 10 to 17 have just returned from a fortnight at Legends Apartments in Sidari. We had a great time and the only complaint we had really was the fact that there wasnt a lot for the children to do apart from swimmng in the pool or playing pool in the bar. Luckily we were able to hire cars and saw most of the Island that way and kept the kids occupied as well, but apart from that everything else was fine, the apartments were clean and there was a lot of noise if you had a room overlooking the main road ( which we did ). The noise was unbelievable some night with motorbikes and cars going at breakneck speed through the town, its a wonder anyone wasnt killed. There was also a villa opposite the apartments that had a dog that barked at everything that moved, but after a couple of nights you became used to it!

me and my friends just got back from sidari yesterday, and i wish we were still there! the apartments alone were way more than i expected. we stayed in a two bed apartment sleeping 2-5 people, but it had room for seven people! so spacious and absolutely spotless. the atmosphere there is brilliant, and we felt right at home straight away. the friendliness of the staff is unbelievable, especially dave and skip, and dj tigger. we had such a laugh, and would definatly recommend staying in these apartments.My honest opinion is they looked by far the best apartments throughout the whole of sidari. Also, when planning trips, don't use the reps, go up the road to Vlasseros travel agents, philip who owns it is great, the coaches come on time, and the trips are better than expected. The resort definatly caters for families with children of all ages and young people (like us bunch of 18yr olds) just looking for a good time! me and my friends loved the place so much that today (less than 24 hours of arriving back in the uk) we went to thomas cook to book another trip there for next year! the weather was lovely and hot - great if you want a tan - and the whole place feels so safe with its extremely low crime rate. if you are wanting to go to sidari, stay in these apartments! oh, and definatly visit the canal d'amour, the views are amazing looking right over the sea to albania. and don't forget to visit aqualand, its such a fun day out! 100% reccomend it. so happy with so many great memories!!!!  any questions don't hesitate to get in touch - sjc395@hotmail.com

Hiya just got back from Sidari last night,we stayed in Legends.We liked the room but we had no chance of getting round the pool there is no were near enough sunbeds for everyone,most days kids (16+) took over the pool anyway with beach balls and rubber rings etc.There is kareoke every night of the week from 10-12 pm its really loud and tacky(we felt).There isn't a great deal for children in Sidari unless you fancy a coach trip to aqua world every day(which is about 50 mins on a coach).The beach was absolutely minty,it stank and there was massive mounds of seaweed all over the beach front it really stank awful,the beach isn't that clean we seen used condoms,millions of ciggi butts,empty bottles and disguarded clothes and empty suncream bottles everywhere so we were not really impressed with the place.Of a night time there are quite a few british drag artist pubs which were really nasty,the language was choice and it was typically british(loud and brass)it wasn't for us but a polite no thanks did the trick.Also there was quite a few Elvis artists there in pubs,again a polite no thanks is enough.One place we did really enjoy was a hotel called THE 3 BROTHERS they do an excellent greek night that kids can also go to and its really entertaining all you have to do is reserve a table.There is an excursion place opposite the 3 brothers called NKS,stay clear of this place its a farce,they are a really bad business,we booked an excursion with them and the coach didn't turn up,the guy inside didn't even have the courtesy to come out and tell us,45 mins later he came out saying hes sending cars for us,there was 12 of us and the cars only held 11 so he got a right strop on and stormed back inside shouting he was getting the trip cancelled,then the woman came out and got a coach sorted but we lost nearly 70 mins of our trip with the promise of 70 mins being added on but it wasn't so be careful of who you book with.Sidari is a nice place,its just 1 massive long road,we went for 2 weeks we enjoyed it for what it was but we would not go back,it seemed to be more aimed at either the young or people who like their ale.There isn't alot to see/do and we thought a week would have been more than enough.I must say though,the cleaner at Legends was extremely nice and friendly.If anyone wants more info here's my email and ill be online tomorrow around 5ish flubbered@hotmail.co.uk  christy

just back from another fantastic stay at legends, already booking it for next year! wanna say a huge hello and kiss to paul for making our stay as enjoyable as last time, tho if i ever hear jake the peg again i might just go mad!!A warning to anyone heading to the apartments, earplugs are very much needed when dj tigger picks up the mic.Great apartment again this time and now able to hold shower in one hand while washing with the other, hopefully next year the shower will be attached to the wall.Anyway gotta say a quick hi to George and Kim, hope you have a good winter and maybe see you next year.

I am coming to Sidari and i am just wondering if there there is any fishing shops where i can rent a fishing rod from. on the 12th of September

Four of us girls stayed at Legends at the end of June and 3 of us returned 5 weeks later. we couldn't get into Legends but would definatley go back.

This is in response to most of the comments below, Legends caters for everyone, singles, couples and families of all ages. apartments are clean. Legends is an enclosed family area with an excellent pool and great entertainment with friendly staff. like anywhere you have to take care on the roads.

Just want to respond to Louise : the legends seems only for single people. I can assure you that they cater for everybodys needs whether you are single or going with your family. My family had the best time ever, we are going back next June and can't wait. Don't worry you will have a fab time!!!! everyone is so nice and it is the best holiday that myself and my family have ever been on.

i am going to the legend apartments in 20 days time,can anyone tell me anything about them?are they clean?im not much of a drinker so does anyone have any idea's as to what to do/see or were to go. thank you christy

going next year in june 2006 can anyone with children who has been let us know if it is suitable for familys as most of the comments seem to be from single people

DJ Tigger Is A Great DJ, A Good Laugh And Has Alot Of Stories To Tell, Great Guy, Also A Very Attractive Barmaid Called Amanda, Pool Is Great, Appartments Are Simple, However Who Actually Spends Time In The Appartment Apart From Sleeping And Getting Changed/Washed. No Paths, And Very Close To Beach, Hint: Dont Go To Great Beach, Walk Another 3Mins Down The Road And There Is A Better Beach, A Good Restaurant I Would Recommend Is Faros, Which In Greek Means Lighthouse, Get The Chicken Korma, Its Lovley :p

  We have only been back a week, and have already booked to go back to the legends next June. We had the most fantastic time there and when it was time for us to leave i cried!!! the staff were great, Amanda and sean were lovely!! Tiggar provided us with non stop entertainment,hopefully he will be there next year. Our apartment was cleaned every day, the cleaner Christina was wonderful, she smiled the whole two weeks that we were there. Everything about the Legends was brilliant, we are counting down the days til we go back!!

We didn't stay at Legends, but spent most of our 2 weeks holiday around their pool and a lot of evenings there too. The pool is clean and the food good value for money in a place where eating out is an expensive job for a family. Nice one Tigga, Sean and Amanda etc for friendly service and great entertainment (Tigga watch those cream shorts after swimming!). Next time we're staying with you!

Jus got bak from legends 2 days ago nd loved it, dj tigger was proper stunnin nd funni as nethin.
'christina' the greek cleaner doesnt speak much english but look out 4 her if u go 2 legends, she does like 2 sing wen shes cleanin ur apartment.
no pavements walkin in2 town till u get rite in2 town nd half the drivers r mad. especially the bus drivers.
definatley goin bak nxt yr nd hopefully paul (tigger) will still b there but hes maybe thinkin of gettin his own place soon (sob).
beach is well clean nd 5 minute walk away wiv a poath goin straight from legends to it.

i am sorry to hear that the family that had there camera stolen and did not enjoy there stay ther must be diffrent from the 3 apartments that we had nothing but praises for the owner takis we also found the manager most helpfull our rooms were clean and spotless and our room overlooked the main road from our balcony and i loved it food was excellent staff amanda scott and shawn were first class.tigger was brilliant with my 3 girls nikita jade and hayley all send you there love thanks for such a great time lastly little steph and big steph thanks very much especially the baggies supporter you were the best rep we have ever had please stay in contact with us because as i said you were all great have a fantastic season love victor meldew ....i dont believe it xxx to all of you l

ive just come back from sidari on monday. and legends apartments: what a hole. it was awful. you pull up out side and think yeah quite nice, until u get to your room.  the taps blue, the waters yellow and black sometimes. smells disgusting.  and when you turn the tap off theres lumps left in your sink like someones been sick.ive heard u cant drink the water but ithink thats going over the top. our room was cleaned 3 times in two weeks. the floors were black.  there was partys going on until what time in the morning. i wouldnt reccomend any one going there especially not familys, the balconys dont even come up to my waist. our camera also went missing while we were there( which still hasnt been found) there is no locks on the back door and aparently albanians are known for theft around there. the manager is absolutly no use what so ever, when we told he he said it wasnt his problem.we meet another couple over there who also had the same problem with the dirtyness. i think its jyst in the block painted cream because another couple who was stayng in the front aparentments facing the pool could drink there water.

i would recomend staying in goudelis aparetments, its slightly out of the town, but its well worth the walk.  nearly everyone that stays there has been 2 or 3 times before. the family are so lovely really make you feel at home, the pool is spiros's pride and joy and the apartments you cant fault them. there lovely especially the new ones there fab theve even got a bath.

Great Place to stay was really happy with the accomadation. Was a bit worried at first reading some of the  write ups on other site's.  Was pleasantly suprised when i got there, very basic appartments but very very very very clean "maids came in every second day" fresh towels and made the beds.  Good location bit noisy at night cause of the traffic.  Suggest you ask for a further back appartment if you have children or you like an early night.  Excellent pool and bar, plenty of sunbeds free, what ever time you go to the pool.  Barstaff and staff in general were very friendly and helpfull.  Food was A1 and real value for money !!  Read an article on the appartments being damp, not damp at all, it's the greek air every where is like it.  Great for your clothes thou as the creases just drop out.  I would say Legends was one of the best Appartments in Sidari.  Supermarket 2 minutes up the rd, shop virtually next door and beach not even 3 minutes down the rd.  What more could you ask for !!  Reps were really friendly, down to earth and didn't feed you the usuall bull ---- !! reps usually do.  BIG hello to Steph and Steph from app108  Rob & Daniel. c",) I would definately stay there again and reccomend Legends to anyone.

Anyone with kids under 10 years going in June 2005?  I have 2 under 10 and am looking forward 2 going.  Just wandering how many families stay at these apartments ....so the kids have more fun!!!

We have just booked our 3rd holiday in the Legends Apts, we spent the 8 previous years in apartments behind the Legends apts, but Thompsons dropped them, before that various non descript apts, this is now our 1st choice, gr8 pool & Bar, Nice clean apartments, and Takis who with his family run the Legends is a gr8 guy ( mention Vic Reeves and your in!! ) Legends is not too far from : The Beach ( 5mins )/ A Supermarket ( 2 mins )/ The Town Centre ( 5 mins) It also has its own Bar with good food and nightly entertainment. Enjoy!!!!

In reply about the path to the shops, I been to sidari quite a few times, 3 times this year and its right that there is no footpath but there is further up the road as you get into the centre, its not too bad, just stay to the side, lots of families go there so think it should be ok.

I have booked 2 weeks in June 2005 with my 2 kids. A little worried about an earlier comment that read there was no path to the shops ? is this true and if so...is it safe with children ? anyone who can respond I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks !!

in june o5 our tour operator is thomas cook but i have heard that these apartments r owned by 2 different people and one lot
of these apartments are very dirty.is this true

Nice Apartments everyone was friendly only downside was its next to the main road with no path into town but there is a path to the beach

Just got back from The Legends Apartments after a two week holiday. I thought that these apartments were lovely!. All of the staff were friendly, especially Paul (aka DJ TIGGER) the entertainment manager and the waitresses Naomi and Cheryl!!. It is a family run place and everything was clean and tidy!!.We were lucky enough to have a ground floor apartment with a pool view which was fab!!. We will definately be going back within the next year!!!.

SHORT WALK INTO MAIN TOWN BUT FAR ENOUGH AWAY.HOWEVER A LOT OF ROAD NOICE IF YOUR APARTMENT IS ON ROADSIDE, ONLY 4 ROOMS OUT OF ABOUT SEVENTY HAVE A POOL VIEW. ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER, PAUL FROM YORKSHIRE IS A GOOD LAUGH BUT CANNOT SING. THE DESPERATE DAN BREAKFAST IS EXCELLANT FOR 4 EUROS. 2 LARGE PROJECTOR SCREENS IN BAR AREA SHOW GOOD FILMS EVERYDAY, AND SPORT IF ANY ON.
WOULD RECOMMEND GOING TO THE CHINA TOWN CHINESE RESTAURANT, IT IS OWNED BY THE LEGENDS OWNER, YOU GET 10% DISCOUNT AND FOOD IS BEST IVE HAD OUTSIDE ENGLAND.
BEACH IS A LARGE TOILET!!!!!!!! HIRE A CAR A GO TO KASSIOPI, PEBBLE BEACH BUT GREAT FOR SNORKELLING, I COULD FEED FISH FROM MY HAND.

we had a great week at legends,good clean apartments lots of bars and shops in sidari,good food in most resterants but then thats part of the fun finding one you like but there are so many,oh bye the way ledgends bar and swimming pool is brill.

These apartments are spot on. The rooms are spacious and the whole place is so clean!!! I would definatly recommend people to stay here, everyones so friendly. The pool has a diving board and a slide. Would be my first choice for staying in Sidari again

These apartments are spacious & clean, the pool & bar are well looked after and kept tidy all the time. Safety deposit boxes are available in the bar, which also serves good food all-day, would recommend.
