I went to Ipsos in July for a week with my sister. We stayed in the Mega hotel and we had a brilliant time, that much that we are going back the 18th September for another week. I'd recommend it for anyone whos single and up for a laugh.

4 of us in our early 20's are heading off to Kavos first week in September. Heard mixed reports about what it is like which doesn't really bother me however, i have noticed that a lot of people comment on the wasp situation. Can somebody tell me honestly how bad it can be as i suffer with bad reactions to wasps and if they are that bad, i will have to look elsewhere!!!

We went from 16 - 24, weather was fab, but week b4 it was crap! raining etc, but we were lucky, came back with great tan, as mentioned b4 by other people the wasps are a major hassel, we were flaffing around all over the place for the first few days ( us brits eh!) but eventually u get so fed up with it u just leave them to buzz around you!!!!

It was pretty quiet of a night, but not too bad, i can imagine it being very very mad out there in the height of the season, but generally it was good, apart from the smell!!!!!!!!!

We went to Sidari for two weeks (5th-20th Sept) In the first week we had three days of rain, thunderstorms and not forgetting powercuts! Two days before we went home it was so hot that we couldn't sit out by the pool between 11-4! Good time to go away if you don't many kids being around!

We went from the eighth of September bad day on arriving, but cleared up after a couple of days, mozzys were bad for the first week but then went away for there holiday.

I think it is pure luck, we went for one week on 15th September and it was hot and getting hotter by the end of the week even though they had alot of rain the week before. The nights were cooler. One big problem WASPS they were everywhere. Also suffered from mossie bites.

We went to Paleo last Sept for 2 weeks from 31/08-13/09. The weather was great. Lovely and hot during the day and cooler at night so that you can sleep. We had rain 2 days, and when it rains it really rains but it was quite nice because the air needed cooling and a few of the bars put on films and stuff when the weather is like this. It didn't spoil our enjoyment. I've just come back from 2 weeks in Zante in July where on our second day the temp was 49 degrees (110 in old money), and I can tell you its quite unbearable at night. I definately would visit Greece/Paleo in Sept for the weather(plus theres less kiddies.

We went to Corfu{Aghios Stefanos}on the 17th Sept 01 for a week and had hot, sunny weather.Nights were cool but a cardigan was sufficient.Lovely resort!

We arrived on 27 September 2002 to be told that they'd had rain most of the week before. Woke up the next morning to floods, thunderstorms and powercut. By Sunday lunchtime (29 Sept) though it cleared up and the sun came out for the rest of the day. The rest of the week was brill apart from the wind on the Tuesday (1st Oct) (it was still sunny though). Wednesday was lovely and hot (shame we was on the island tour), Thursday a bit cooler and Friday (4th Oct) was a lovely day to top up the tan before coming home that night. Cold at nights - you need a cardigan/jacket.

Just come back from a two week holiday in kavos. We stayed at stavros apartments and id definately reccomend it, the owners were really nice people and its right next to the beach. Had a wicked holiday, the weather was good, it rained four times but the rest of the time it was really hot and theres an added bonus about goin in sept-no cockroaches!!!!! Kavos was a bit smelly but the vars and clubs are great. If ur going mr beans is a great place to start drinking and the pr's are well fit!!! All in all its a wicked p[lace im workin there next summer so i might see u out there guys!!

Going to Acharavi in late September early October next year for 2 weeks, what's the weather likely to be like at that time, and how busy is the resort?
