My husband and I went to Michaelangelo apartments last year. As ours was a last minute deal we were in one of the older rooms which was clean and tidy and had all we needed but dark and old fashioned. That did not bother us though. The cleaners were in regularly and even washed our breakfast things up which we felt very guilty about!! The facilities were excellent, the pools lovely and the staff v v friendly. The only down side is it is a good ten minute walk into the centre of Kassiopi which is fine strolling down of an evening but not so pleasurable when you are coming home in the dark after too much Metaxa!!

My husband and I have just come back from another brilliant week in Kassiopi and this time we stayed at the Sunrise. The location of these apartments is fantasic, right above the harbour and only a few minutes walk to the square. The accomodation is basic but it is cleaned 3 times a week and had everything we needed (small hob and grill, kettle, plenty of crockery and pans etc.) The pool is brilliant, lovely and clean and at the back of the apartments so peaceful too with views of the mountains.

We loved Angelos Bar and the music quiz. Our team name was the Kassiopi Porn Stars and you will find our winning score of 57 points on the Hall of Fame (we teamed up with the Sandgrounders cos they knew about the swinging sixties!).

Jasmines was brilliant, good music, bit of quiz and karaoke thrown in for good measure! Unfortunately we experienced the 2-1 defeat of England by France in Euro 2004 there but a few drinks afterwards eased the pain! DJ looks like Bradley Walsh - bless!!

The Wave Bar is a nice place to chill out because it is right on the edge of the harbour. Day or night it is nice to sit by the water with a cold glass of something!

This was our second visit to Kassiopi but our first visit to Istoni and despite wanting to try a different restaurant every night we went here twice. The food was excellent, the starters were huge and we did not have room to sample puddings! House wine was the best as well! Staff very good and efficient seeing as there were only two people serving.

This restaurant is fantastic!! Food is out of this world and the staff are very friendly! Do not miss going here on your holiday!

Our Manos rep (Jim Hollinsworth) was really good despite having been moved to Kassiopi the night before our welcome meeting so therefore had limited knowledge of the resort. He did know a lot about the island as a whole and even made notes of good places to visit on our map. The transfer to the resport was a bit crap though, even though we were supposed to go straight to Kassiopi without drop offs at other resorts the driver decided we would drive through them all anyway!
Jim was always in the office when he said he would be, got flight times for home in good time, did everything he said he would basically and you can't ask for more than that.

Kassiopi my second home! I challenge anyone to go there and dislike it. Once you have been you will want to go again and again! Brilliant bars, fantastic restaurants, beautiful harbour and friendly people - what more can you ask for?!
