I have been to Sidari four years running. We stayed in the Mykios apartments just up the road from Hawaii the first time we went, and got the name for Hawaii whilst we were there and every year since we stay in Hawaii apartments. For our 2004 holiday we booked the day after we returned last year but unfortunately Sunset did not renew the contract with the apartments and so we had to go and stay in different apartments. This year we stayed in Maria Apartments just up the lane at the side of the Co-Op it is owned bu the same family that own the Hawaii apartments and they are a lot nicer than Hawaii very modern.

Sidari itself is a lovely resort very quiet, and peaceful. The beaches at Canal D'Amour are lovely and the sea is very clean.

For food you can't go wrong with the sea Breeze restaurant in town therre set meals are excellent value at about four euros for a three course meal, the stifado and the grilled fish are excellent by far the best available. I also love the astoria restaurant which is down the side of the dive shop just passed the three brothers hotel in town. The service is amazing. You should also try Churchills just down from the apartments the fish and chips are huge about eight euros but really worth it you will never have had fish like it in your life it is huge and the chips are homemade. I dare you to finish it.

Travelling to Corfu town you are best to book with Vlasseros travel in town just past the San Remo restaurant (kebab shop) Marguerite is really friendly she is from England but lives over in Sidari. Four euros for the return in to Corfu town on an air conditioned coach, you can't go wrong with them for any excursions.

We returned from our stay in the middle of June at the Maria apartments and they were really nice very modern. We had to change our booking to stay there as the apartments we had booked for the contract had been cancelled (Hawaii). The apartment was clean and very spacious(2 of us stayed in it). The pool was clean and the staff at Shooters bar were lovely Dom & Barbara the owners are from Glasgow were nice. Dom had his 60th birthday whilst we were there but you don't hear noise from the bar downstairs.

Sidari is good for relaxing four years running we have booked there. Food is good try the Sea breeze in town for a three course meal for four euros and also Astoria at the side of the dive shop in town is good. San Remo can't be missed to try Gyros a local kebab they are amazing and also just down from the apartments are Churchills which does amazing fish and chips I dare you to finish it the portions are huge and the chips are homemade.

Good shopping in town and also in Corfu town. Travel with Vlasseros just passed San Remo if you want any excursions as they are cheap and the coaches are air conditioned the local green bus service is very unreliable don't try it you will have to stand the hour in to town.
