We have been to Sidari for the last 9 or 10 years and yes we have been in Georges Bar many times
He used to have his sons working for him, one was a junkie but the other was very nice
George used to just sit with his big cigar at the end of the bar and take the money( a real character)
We went 3 years ago and he wasnt there so I dont really know what happened to them.
I also would like to know what happened to them, a very entertaining family I must say.

We have been to Sidari for about 9 years on and off and it is still the best resort in our eyes anyway.
You can stay on canal da mor which is the quiet area then if you want nightlife its about a ten minute walk into the town.
We used to start off in the town then make our way back to the 'quiet' for the last couple of drinks and supper.
Great resort for couples, families and those who like to rave.
Its got everything.
what more can I say. in fact we are going 29th August so might see you there
Oh yes and the greek people just love the English and cant do enough for you

We are going to stay at Christos Apartments 29th August as they were recommended.
After reading all the good things about them can anyone let me know if the apartments supply towels please as we have been caught out before.
Cant wait anyway!!!

just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at christos apartments .
we stayed for two weeks and it was one of the most friendly places we have stayed in.
christos and spiros and the two spiros in the snack bar just couldnt do enough to make our stay more welcoming.
i wanted to take daisy the dog home but spiros wouldnt let me!
the location of the apartments couldnt have been any better and the views were just wonderful.
i cant go without saying hello to ron in the bar who also contributed in making our holiday superb. cheers ron

Cactus Jacks - (Restaurants in Sidari)

I can recommend Cactus Jacks.
We ate here a couple of times and the portions are for BIG eaters.
We had a combi meal between us for two and when it came out I gasped at the size of it.
There were Onion Rings , Sweetcorn for two, Salad(lots of), Bar b Q Chicken and Ribs(also Lots of), Colslaw and Garlic Bread.
With drinks it came to about £14 which I thought was very reasonable.
Another time we had a steak each( large again )
You must try the cheesy/ onion mash( delish)
