Marika Apartments

Thank you to Steve Boyd, as we were booked to go to the Marika 11 apartments end of July, hadn't received our tickets, so rung Direct Holidays, and was told, there was a problem with printing our tickets, but after reading your comment on Friday, I rung again, knowing what you had said, and yes was told we wouldn't be staying in the Marika apartments, but we are now staying the Andreas Apartments, so if any one has any comments on these apartments please let me know. Many thanks again. |

WARNING to anyone who has booked the Marika apartments with Direct Holidays. DH nolonger have the apartments to let and they will offer you an alternative. I found out with 10 days to go when I enquired about the tickets, after three phone calls I was told that I was being offered an alternative. The two bedroom sea view I had booked DH wanted to change in to a 0ne bedroom in the centre of town.
DH could give no acceptable reason why when they had known since April they hadn't informed me.
Will I be using DH ever again - NO! |

| After 12 visits in 6 years,I can honestly say this is one of the nicest apts we've stayed in.Fantastic location.Quiet/great seaview, 'though not too faraway.Booked it via Thomson 2001.Experience with Direct is they never seem to keep good apts.? | ||||||||||

| Alan - DO YOU HAVE THE DIRECT HOLIDAY BROCHURE ? AS YOU LOOK AT ONE OF THE TWO BEDROOM APPS IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR ON THE LEFT - I THINK THE OTHER ONE IS ACROSS THE WAY FROM THE STUDIO WE HAD WITH A BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE STAIRS. WE HAD THE STUDIO NEXT TO THE ONE AT THE FRONT NEXT TO THE TWO BEDROOM - THE VIEW AS I SAID WAS TO DIE FOR, THE STUDIO WAS A GREAT SIZE AND FURNISHED TO AN OK STANDARD (IT IS GREECE YOU MUST REMEMBER) THE BEDS,HOWEVER LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED WELL NOT SO MUCH THE BEDS (ALTHOUGH VERY LOW) THE MATRESSES - I KNOW WE WERE AT THE END OF THE SEASON BUT I THE WERE VERY LUMPY AND SQUASHED TO NOTHING WHEN LAID ON SO NOT THE MOST COMFORTABLE THING TO SLEEP ON!!!! | ||||||||||

| Hi Alan - Thank you so much for the information on direct holidays - i have just made my booking for September 2005.... yes, it is that lovely the pool is so close and the views from the poolside appartments is spectacular!!!! Noted on the direct holidays site that the Marika II are now listed was aware that they were to included next year so that was right. Thank you so much again, you have saved me from being very unhappy 2 weeks in the Ariti Apartments kassiopi becasue i'd be wishing i was at the Marikia - hope you enjoy Kassiopi as much as we did. | ||||||||||
