   We have stayed at Maria Studios for the past 5 years and it is fantatic! Yiannis and Katerina are lovely hosts and everyone is very friendly. We will be there once again this summer for sure!!!

WE LOVE FAROS POOL BAR (MARIA STUDIOS) IT IS REALY GOOD...THERE IS A BBQ ON EVRY SATURDAY NIGHT WITH GREEK DANCING AND IT IS VERY ENTERTAINING...WE GO EACH YEAR NOW BECAUSE WE ARE VERY GOOD FRIENDS WITH YANNI, KATERINA, BABY MARIA, AND MY NICE GRACIE IS GOING OUT WITH SPIRO THEIR SON...IT IS A VERY PRACTICLE PLACE TO STAY BECAUSE IT HAS GOT: A SHOP NEXT DOOR TO IT - A NEAR BY BEACH - AND LOTS OF BARS. WE ARE GOING AGAIN IN JUNE SO ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU...XXX | |

I haven't stayed at the apartments, but it is part of Faros (Pharos) pool bar.
 This is truly a family run business, run by Yiannis and his wife Katerina as well as his father Spiro and Mum Maria (who are both excellent cooks).
This must be the best pool bar in Paleo. During the day you can just relax by the pool (loads of beds and umbrellas), nip to the bar for refreshments, or go and sit down and have a light lunch. You must try Yianni’s Dads mousaka with a few chips, absolutely fantastic. In the evening Yianni is the entertainer, what a comedian. On a Saturday night it’s Bar-B-Q time, again the food prepared by Spiro. Yianni, his sister and Katerina get up and do the Greek dancing (watch out for the fire dance). I have been here many times over the past 5 years since it was changed from a taverna. Once you get to know Yiannis and his family, you will become friends for life. I highly recommend it. | |

We visited Maria in September 2004 for my first ever holiday abroad and it was totally fantastic. Everyone was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was great. We had a full English breakfast every day cooked by Spiros and spent hot days lazing by the pool. The week just flew by. We went to Turkey earlier this year and hated it so we've just booked to go back to Maria again this September. Look out Yannis here we come !!!!!

We Stayed at the Maria apartments for a week 12th to the 19th September 2005. They are fab! Yannis and Katrina are fantastic hosts, the position is perfect with a maximum of 20 minutes walk to all areas of Paleokastritsa (apart from the monestary!) The studios are kept really clean as is the pool and bar area. If you have days when energy is lacking the pool is a perfect place to just relax with a book and there are plenty of loungers to go around. The food, cooked by Maria, is simple but very good - perfect if you just want to grab an easy lunch by the pool. The BBQ on Saturday night held in Faros pool bar is a must and has a fantastic turn out. We will definately return to Paleokastritsa one day and would not even bother looking at another place to stay. | ||||||||||
