It was basic and a little dark at nights to walk home from some of the brilliant tavernas, but who cares when you have lovely heat, beautifully clean pool six feet from your front door, charming bar owners twice the distance away. Fortis and his partner were very friendly and helped us have a great time. The food was fresh, in great quantity along with great quality. Mythos, only a small five to ten minute walk down the road, was welcoming and traditional as well; Nikos, Spiros and everyone else working there had a great laugh and danced most nights... and big talent I'm telling you  . In fact, Nikos jokingly asked my sister to marry him  he got upset when she said no.  It may be basic and not have the same sort of look as over here, or the taste... but why would you got to Greece and not want to eat Greek food?
