San George Apartments
(Apartments in Sidari)
Hello, I have booked to go the St Georges (via Kosmar) but they are not in the holiday gazetteer that the travel agents use - and was told by the travel agent that this meant that the St George apartments couldnt be used by any reputable English Travel company. There were good reviews of the San George though - it looks the same but I am really confused by the regular changes of name. What is the correct name please ?
Also would like any comments or reviews on the 2 bed apartment in the St/San George apartments, Good for a family of 5 ? Is it on the ground floor and near the pool ? Is it 2 bedrooms and a bathroom/kitchen or other space too ? Is there a patio or a balcony, is it shared ?
Is the 2 bed apartment close to the bar; have read some reviews about noise at night and dont want to be right above the bar with small kids. Do the apartments have aircon and safe deposit boxes please ?
Where are the St/San George apartments - near the Canal D'Amour end towards Megali - or elsewhere ? Are they easy to find and does anybody have a GPS position for them, or a good idea of where they are on the map ?
Also - going with Kosmar, and want to hire a car for at least part of the 2 weeks, lots of horror stories on here about the transfer from the airport. Is it really that bad and would it be easier to hire a car from the airport and drive ourselves ? Any other hints for cheap car hire in Sidari ?
Lastly, do the apartments have their own website anywhere, could not seem to find it !
Sorry -loads of questions -just keen to go...

to anyone wanting to go to san george do it you will not be let down, this is our 4th time and weve been with our kids and without and had a great holiday every time home from home to us.great food ( love you nota) great entertainment and you cant beat the welcome you get.
sidari itself can be as loud or as quiet as you want it to be, the sea is great for kids as it stretches out really far without going above your waist.there realy is something for every1, food prices are great, in 4 years not 1 of us has been ill.
on the beach all you have to do is buy a drink in 1 of the resturants and you can use there sunbeds and facilitys all day long.
well the trips been on most of them, water park is fab and a great boat trip with a champagne dive, avoid the secluded beach cruise it is all pebbles really hot on your feet.
well if you are going you will have a great time, if your not book up you wont be let down.

 Hi george,it's stan do you remember me we was there 05, we had 3 children with us called alex, ellie and jamie. If you remember my son jamie cut his toe when he slipped with the glass bottle of coke, if you wasn't there i think stef might of been,also you may remember steve and karen when we was messing around on greek night and i broke his ankle by accident.We really injoyed ourselve's as the apartment was lovely and kids loved it..
We are looking to come back this year and we are bringing people with us as we don't stop talking about our fantastic holiday..
You guy's done everything in your power to help us injoy ourselfs,for a holiday that we have not forgot i would recommend san george apatments to everyone who go's on holiday to corfu...

Hi all we were in sidari june 07 with 7 teenagers and it was brilliant! many thanks to George and rest of staff for takin time to get to know our lot and make the holiday so much fun..... think our boys tried every drink there was behind the bar! George, they had great fun with you and thought of you more as a friend, we were all very sad to leave. hope to revisit some time soon cos it sounds like you all haven't changed a bit.....

 well what can i say,this year will be our fourth time at san george,and it just gets better n better,we will be bk june 18th 08.achilles and george in fact they all treat you with the utmost respect, everything is conviniently priced and nota makes fab food, try the moussaka mmm .well matey if you reading this see you soon love you all. sammy julie and girls.trips are better off booked in town behind three pigs.we have never been let down yet and done every trip,if you looking for a late night try shakers top nite for all. | |

The San George is situated a 15 minute walk outside Sidari in stunning green countryside. A handful of shops are nearby and the best Tavermas in Sidari are located on the walk in to Sidari village. San George pool and area are spotless and the rooms are a good standard. George organised the entertainment when we were there in July - Greek Night, Quiz Night, Kareoke and Bingo. Mamma provides an appertising food menu and you really do not need to venture far from the poolside all day as the atmosphere is so relaxing. We would definitely return to these apartments, possibly the best we have stayed at in the past 18 years of travelling to the Greek Islands - | |

We've just returned from our holiday at san george apartments in sidari corfu & we've had a fantastic time.My little girl&hubby,we all didn't want to come home,George,Achillies&Mamma were all so lovely,we look forward to going again very soon(as this was our first time over there).We recommend it to everyone as it's a great place to stay&fairly close to all ammeinaties,if Achillies or George get to read this Thank You for your wonderful hospitality&for being our friend's.
