Roda - (Resorts on Corfu)

Aine B

I need to know who I can book a trip to Erikoussa through from Roda. I have been before adn I think the guy that owns the Cheers Bar in Roda organises excursions to WErikoussa but I can't find a number to contact them on. (need to know what days the trips are on so that I can arrange car hire around it)

Is the Blue Lagoon Boat Trip suitable for young children (aged 11 years, 6 years & 20 months)?

Nikos Family Taverna - (Restaurants in Roda)

Have been to Roda a few times and feel that this restaurant is one of the best, it is certainly the best equipped for families with young children and we will deffinitely visit them again when we go back at the end of May

Maggies Place - (Restaurants in Roda)

Aine B  (19 May 2004)

Last time we were in Roda we went to maggies place and we were appalled at the service offered and the comments made by the chap that was running it at the time (I believe he is still there).
He shouted at our kids (even though they were not making any noise)and told our 18 month old baby to get his feet off the chair (even though his legs were not long enough to reach off the chair and they didn't have any high chairs for him to sit in!!)
The comments continued until we walked out. They should have had a sign up stating 'NO CHILDREN ALLOWED'.
Although the food was good - the service was appalling
We won't be going there again this year - unless the guy that was running it last time has left

Roda Park Restaurant - (Restaurants in Roda)

Aine B

Each time we go to Roda we tend to eat at the Roda Park most nights. The service can be a bit slow but the continual entertainment makes up for the slow service, and what have you got to rush off for anyway!! My daughter loved it one year when she was sat on the corner of atable adn one of the guys providing the entertainment lifted the table with his teeth - with her sat on it!!

The only things I would have to complain about is that they (Costas and Steve) sometimes tell you to leave without paying and say that you can pay the day after - we did this on numerous occassions and always paid but last time we went, we had our meal, were told to pay the following day - which we did, we paid Steve at about 10am the following morning but that evening Costas asked us for the money for the previous nights bill. We told him that we had already paid Steve, Steve couldn't remember us paying him and so Costas did not belive that we had done. Needless to say we didn't go there again after this and are a bit dubious about going there again when we return at the end of May.
