Rena Studios - (Accommodation in Paleokastritsa)

S B

Rena studios is a realy nice set of apartments very close the the centre of Paleo and the main beach. Our apartment was really clean and had an amazing view over the bays of Paleo. We would definitely recommend it and there are extras such as a small supermarket downstarirs which is really handy and air-con is available at 7 euors per night, definitely needed for this time of year (July).
The only warning is that there are lots of steps and steep slopes down to the beach but all apartments are the same in this area, as Paleokastritsa is very hilly.
The owner Rena and her family are very freindly and helpful for local information.
Overall, had a brilliant stay and will definitely return again!

Paleokastritsa - (Resorts on Corfu)

S B

Just come back from a 2 week holiday in Paleo and really enjoyed it.
We stayed at Rena studios which is really nice and in a good loaction.
Paleokastritsa is a real beauty spot and the food in particular at restuarants Limani, Bellvedere and the snack shop by the main beach does lovely giros for lunch at 2 euros.
There is plenty to do other than lazing on the beach, the walk up to the monestary is only 5 minutes, there are boat cruises and beach BBQ's (better to go independantly than with rep/company because it os much cheaper)
Paleokastritsa has a lot of steps and slopes but nothing too bad, and the beaches are beautiful and really clear. Great for snorkeling.
As for nighlife, there are some nice bars but thigs don't get lively until about 1 am!
Overall, it's just a really lovely place to unwind and is definitely recommended to all, families, couples e.t.c
