Hi Jon, Romeo, Laura, Vicky, Jonathon, little Tassos and everyone at Tassos Appts. (And Kim, the First Choice Rep)

Just returned from two wonderful weeks and we all agreed it was the best holiday ever - can't remember when we were ever so relaxed!

Jon & Romeo make the holiday. They're so friendly, remembering everyone's names and even playing Mark at pool!! Mark remembers Jon's special ice creams and Bryn & I miss Romeo's "Coffee Club" each morning!!! Becky misses lounging by the pool!

We made some great friends and will definitely be back. We'd already booked next year's holiday to Florida, so we've got to wait til 2009! But we're already counting down til we can book it! LOL!

Thanks Jon, thanks Romeo - fantastic holiday. See you again.

PS Did you show the Ipswich v Crystal Palace game???

Faros is the place to go! Perfectly situated on the beach front, looking out to the sea, with both excellent food and service. Maria and Fanis are both lovely, genuine people and we kept returning to Faros, night after night. They made us feel so welcome, Faros felt like family.

The Greek meze was delicious, and it's great because you can have a small plate for just 6 Euros. (I still couldn't clear the plate though!) I can also recommend the Greek Salad, Spag Bol and desserts. Had to pop in during early afternoon for desserts (try the Greek Yogurt with honey & nuts, tho the kids loved the chocolate concoctions!) because we were always too full after dinner!

Thanks Maria & Fanis - looking forward to seeing you next time!

Yammas!

Acharavi - (Resorts on Corfu)

Just returned from 2 weeks in August and will definitely be returning to Acharavi.

The best thing is the people - nowhere have we found the locals more friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Tassos, which was fantastic and ideally positioned for easy access to the beach and main road for shops & restaurants etc.  We never had a bad meal anywhere, but Faros on the beach was our favourite. Pumphouse also good.  The beach is pebbly, which did disappoint me, but once you get over the stones on the initial bit into the sea, it's soft sand and shallow, safe water. Kids loved jumping the waves!

We walked into Roda one day, which was nice, but we were glad we were staying in Acharavi!
Close enough to places like Kassiopi, and Sidari for days/ evenings out. (try Mythos Travel straight opposite you when you come to the main rd.)

We can't wait to come back!
