Yes, these apartments are only a couple of weeks old, and one of the best in Arillas. The pool is also new and maintained by a chap that never stops working. Arillas is a really friendly, relaxing place for a holiday. There a 3 or 4 bars which play music at night which look impressive with all modern comforts etc. This doesn't distract from the peaceful and relaxed feel though, but does offer that little extra when you fancy something more upbeat. Anna Studios were a great place to stay, but the only point I would make is that it is situated uphill from the centre, so be prepared with that bottle of cold water for when you reach the top. Overall, I was very impressed with Arillas and Corfu. It is a clean, lush island that has far more in terms of nature/history/culture going for it than most other greek islands. Arillas is north-west of the island, which is very scenic.

couldn't find this place myself, although i would have probably been here. whispers is another bar which occasionally has live music and is very nice that i would recommend. the place is pretty big, clean and popular with everyone. there is also a p**vy dj that likes the ladies if you fancy a dance in the disco (which never really gets into 'a disco' - its more of a guy playing some tunes and you get the odd group of girls and mum/dads having a dance and throwing some shapes on the floor), but it is a nice set-up with great service. it also seems popular with the locals around midnight.

I have to agree that the beach here is probably better than most, because it has fine sand and is not shingle like at paleokastritsa. It has a few shops and tavernas running along the rear which is handy. It is not very big though, so you may need to take a stroll along to the left (if you go right you get to the nudist section apparently - damn, the missus wouldn't let me go that far!) Agios georgios is the next beach to the left from arillas(10 mins by boat hire) around the rock face, which is again popular but very clean and wider, so you can have a fair amount of privacy there. I would recommend hiring a boat and going that way instead of car because the roads are a little windey, narrow and rather steep.

There are a six or so good restaurants in arillas, this being one of them. The large majority of them are actually very good in terms of comfort, value for money, friendliness and service. Average meal per person = £8 (starters, mains and couple of beers) There are plenty of places to give you a selection headache! n.b. no pushy sales outside like most greek places which is a welcome change that i sometimes find stressful.

Libra are very efficient and helpful. They have a good standard. keep up the good work
