I have visted Arillas in both the sumer of 2006 & 2007! This restaurant has to be the best on the island well worth a visit! Try the mussell sagnaki it's to die for!

So good we ate here 5 times, delicious greek dishes with their own wine, some from the vines growing over you head in the restaurant. Great value and service with a smile. Dimitri (owners son) takes the orders and is fluent in 5 languages-so no problem there!

We had great meals here - excellent starters and top-quality meat and fish dishes. On our first night there was a torrential thunderstorm, so Dimitri drove us home. That's what I call service!

We travelled over to Brouklis (actual spelling) from Barbati on the other coast, purely on the strength of the recommendations they had. It was well worth the trip, we were lucky to get a table as it was busy! The food was gorgeous, very well explained and reasonalbly priced too. We ate fresh squid and sardines to start (caught that day from around the corner), and I had the Burdeto, a fish and potato dish, nicely seasoned and tasty, Geoff had the Stifado, succulent beef and potatoes with baby onions. These were the specials, but the menu had a good choice. All the staff were really friendly and helpful too, we'd definitely go there again, it was lovely.

This is in addition to my previous posting as if forgot to alter the pannel at the top of the message which shows my opinion of the food, service and the price - All of these were EXCELLENT not average sorry Dimitris

Ate at he Brouklas nearly every night during the last 2 weeks. The food is fantastic and Dimitris and his staff could not have made us feel more welcome. 2 things you should know, you may need to book a table in advance as it can get very busy & try at least one of the specials as they are fantastic

Stayed in Arillas for a week and this was the best place, if you are offered the

special for that night take it you wont be

disappointed or try the mousaka, its a great place to eat and make friends.

can't wait to be back in Arillas to be able to eat at Brouklis afain. We joked with Dimitris that they should do a delivery service to the UK - and wow, I wish they would, I would order every night!!!!!

The best restaurant in Arillas by a country mile. The food is absolutely brilliant.

Do not miss.

A warm welcome, excellent food and good service kept us returning night after night. Probably easiest to spot as it's full every night (which speaks for itself) but if you head up from the jetty inland it is past the T junction on your left hand side and will have a specials board hanging. The staff are excellent and the owner (who speaks excellent English) will explain the specials and what they consist of. There were not enough nights to try all we wanted. Twenty five euros got us two starters, two main courses and a couple of beers each. Visit www.arillas.com for more info.

Traditional greek taverna serving traditional greek food a rare find these days.Try Brouklas you will not be disappointed. We had fish Bianco (fish and potato stew)fantastic! Staff very friendly and helpful.

There are a six or so good restaurants in arillas, this being one of them. The large majority of them are actually very good in terms of comfort, value for money, friendliness and service. Average meal per person = £8 (starters, mains and couple of beers) There are plenty of places to give you a selection headache! n.b. no pushy sales outside like most greek places which is a welcome change that i sometimes find stressful.
