I am due to arrive at the Maria apartments in June and I have heard good and bad comments about the apartments, some people say they are damp and smelly but some say they are very basic but clean. Have you stayed here before?? What do you think??

After reading all the bad comments about Maris'a I was dreading staying there, but even though we had the crappy small room (Number 13) it was ok as we were only staying for a week. I have stayed in worse places but the room was clean but the drains would smell when you went back to the room after a hard days sunbathing.

Maria's is located just a couple of minutes walk from the smelly bridge and there are plenty of bars which will keep you entertained.

The pool and the pool area was very clean as it was cleaned every night. The sun loungers around the pool are free but there is a charge if you use them on the beech. If it is too busy around the pool there are plenty of bars which offer you free use of their pools as long as you use their bar for drinks and snacks etc.

We had no problems with the staff, but we only spoke to them a few times.

I would stay at Maria's again and hope that they have solved their smelly drain problem.
