I would like to make a comment regarding Sidari and the condition that exists there, especially the one with the various travel agencies which in reality are one and are under the PLC group. Someone can check the information on the net if he or she wants. Lets start by telling you that all the travel agents in Corfu and especially in Sidari know each other, and they cooperate with each other. What that means? They tell you that there is no free room in Sidari, well they are not telling the truth. For example Suzanne Beaton (August 29, 2002) was told that Dinos is not part of Direct holidays or sold out. Well she could have answered that Manos and Direct holidays are one. Or that she may was told that there is no apartments available at Dinos. Well if she called Spiros or Haroulla, she could have found out that Direct or Manos have one or two apartments empty at Dinos and want to keep them that way as they do not pay anything to the owners and do not care as they obligate the owners not to rent it and not make a profit about it. Or if Suzanne have called directly Haroulla or Dinos she could have found out that PLC group will have liked Suzanne to go to Sidari Village the apartment complex that is situated on the hilltop in sidari instead as they have lots of openings as people don't like the idea of climbling a hill to go to their apartments. Or if Suzanne will have learned if she inquired more, it would have been that the PLC group gave to the owner of Sidari Village couple of billion drahmas that is a billion or two euros to build the complex and now they (PLC group) has to take the money back and tell you that any "Dinos" is not available and that there is a Sidari Village available. Well what I am trying to say is that there is a huge scheme going on in Sidari with the travel agencies that in reality are one. They try to divert people in other parts of Sidari or Corfu, they are playing with the owners and they are lowering the prices of the apartments so they can make more profit. Regarding what they pay the owners is the price that a studio or apartment cost them for two weeks. The rest must be expenses which can be two or three weeks and the travel agencies have the profit of two, three or four months. What a nice bloodsuckers. They play with the owners that can be a nice lie regarding noice, regarding hot water, regarding not enough bookings, regarding the war in Serbia, regarding the Twin Towers in the U.S., regarding the war in Iraq, regarding the overvalue of EURO, regarding major improvements in the complex or studios, or enought bookings in that area for this agency which in reality is one PLC group, ect. I know many of the owners in Sidari. Most of them if you ask them honestly hate all these dishonest lies and would have prefered not to be told one. But as we know the bigger fish eats the smaller one and there is not reversall. And being at the end of the food or economic chain there is always the possibility of being left empty totally or half which in reality is what the travel agencies want or have desired.
Furthere more I have to say that I am not the owner of Dinos or have any relationship with the onwers of Dinos. I am just someone that knows them and has experienced the above situations which are what the same as Dinos's and would like to express them.
