Sidari - (Resorts on Corfu)

my family and I are going to Sidari in Aug. 06 for the first time.(four adults and three children, 10-17yrs)
we are staying at the hotel Alkion.
can anyone give me information about the hotel ? plus about the area ?
we have been to Majorca for several years but wanted to try somewhere new.
would be most greatful.
