Has anyone got any comments about the Elena Apartments in Aghios Yiannis Sidari. How far is it to Sidari town and what is the accommodation like? Any good for Children?

11 of us are going to sidari in june 2003 6 adults & 5 kids. We are staying at the Elena apartments in agios yannis (just outside sidari, supposidly) has anyone been there and can you tell us if it is too far to walk to the beach and into Sidari. what are the owners like?

message for Helen Jonson. Going to the Elena apartments at agios yiannis (something like that) just outside Sidari in 4 weeks time. Are these the same Elena you went to. How far to beach and how far to town? Taking 5 children, are the rooms nice and is there any air conditioning? Thanks

6 adults and 5 children Stayed at elena Apartments in Sidari (Georges bar)George,Jenny, their son vangelis were excellent hosts, they made our holiday. Very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were dark, old and very basic but you soon get used to them, otherwise we have a great holiday. Grounds and pool were first class.

Message for Donna Grey. We did go with Cosmos. There a re two villas at Elena. One has 2 bedrooms and is right next to pool and bar, and the other is in a quieter location at the back of apartments. We did not have to take bath towels as they supplied bath, hand and tea towels. Air conditioning is 8 euros a night. Elena and Georges bar are great and the location is brill. The pool is cleaned every day and looked after by Adonis (yes that's right, Adonis)George, Jenny and vangelis were great and very friendly, even the dog, Daisy. The resort is very expensive now that the euro has come in. Georges bar is cheapest for drinks. Its about a 10 min walk into Sidari, but you have to watch the kids as the cars drive fast and there is no footpath. Hope you have as good a time as we did.
