Roda - (Resorts on Corfu)

Cathie M

God knows what got up Jeffs nose at Alexandros. But we have been going to the Alexandros pool now for a good few years. We have stayed at various apartments within the resort. We have also tried several other pools like Theodoros, Spiros No 1, The coral, and Pegasus to name but a few, none of them are as well kept and as clean. And as for the comment that there was too much chlorine in the pool, bollocks. Angelos is very stringent about the care of the pool and when you think of the amount of people using the pool on a daily basis along with the suncream and other lotions and potions that us holidaymakers lather ourselves with, I think that he does a bloody good job! Anna is like an extension to our family and is always very helpful and will try her best to ensure that you have a good holiday. She has also done especially well this year to keep smiling and looking after everyone while her own life has been very difficult. Good luck to Jeff when he goes elsewhere and please stay away cause we dont want you moaning and bleating on about a perfectly good place and spoiling it for others. See you lot at Alexandros next year. Lots of love

Alexandros Apartments - (Accommodation in Roda)

Cathie M

hello everybody, I bet we all wish we were back in sunny Roda right now. It's bloody freezing in Scotland this week. We stayed in Alexandros apartments a couple of trips ago. They were very good basic accomadation, bit pricey but the fact that you had Anna and Angelo right on your doorstep was worth it. A lovely couple(right nutters) but lovely all the same ! Brian the resident D.J who tries to stretch your mind with his famous faces quizzes (new ones in the post Brian !) Spiros who mixes the weidest cocktails on the island (not to mention drinks for spoof !) and Harry the cuddliest barman in the resort. We really enjoy coming back year after year to see you all.
I know that the pool will be closeing now and that you should be taking a well earned break. Who knows you might like to try out Britain for a change and see what Jeff was missing ! Mind you I would stick to Scotland just in case you run into him. Angelo wouldn't like the food in prison!
