Vassilis apartments were very good.  Basic, but anyone that's been to Greece knows what to expect.  they were very clean with good maid service throughout the two weeks i was there.    You can use the Katsaros pool which is a littl efurther up the road, or we tended to use the Alkyon Hotel pool as it was on the way into town / beach etc.   there was a massive insect in the apartment one night, which was pretty scary (about 3 inches long) , which dissappeared mysteriously, thought it had hitched a ride in my case, but luckily it didn't appear at home.     I would definitley use these apartments/studios again.

I have been visiting Sidari for over 9 years now and whilst i stayed in the Alkyon for the first two years, the quality and quantity of the food makes it impossible for me to go there on the half board basis that it offers.  i would come home unable to fit into any of my clothes!!    i tend to go self catering now as i prefer to try different restaurants, but always make a point of returning to the Alkyon for a couple of superb meals, for the evening entertainment and for the well tended pool.    Also the staff are some of the friendliest ion Sidari.
