Apartments are basic and bathrooms tiny,Pual and Charley who run tha bar were great and the pool wonderful. You pay 40 euros a week for air con and 20 euros to keep your room on til 8pm on departure day, there are little or no facilities if you have an early flight home,Ifs  20 min walk into the town along a busy road.If you want a cheap basic holiday its good.

The Sea View was very good because we could clearly see the sea as I saw written on the reviews.  Derek the Greek receptionist was very welcoming. There were also 2 cats we called Charelene and Joey.  They were good.   I texted my friend June at home and I told her that the weather was very nice.  She said it sounds nice. The bed was very good for sleeping in.  I would recommend them for sleeping in. It is on a good hill which you can walk down or up. I like Tsaki Sea View a lot. It was good.  Thank you Derek.

We stayed at Tsaki Sea View in August 2006 and again in August 2007 because we loved it so much.

Yeah the rooms are basic, and you've got that big hill, but youve got all that you need for a great relaxing holiday in the sun.

We met some great friends whilst we were there too, we are still friends back in the UK.
Paul and Charlie made our holiday and without them it wouldnt be the same.

We found this place as a last minute deal, and it turned out to be the best holiday that we've ever had.

See you in 2009 after our wedding.
Love Natalie & Phil x

Yes the accomodation is basic but we thought it was a fantastic holiday and we will be returning next year the staff at the bar were brilliant and could not have asked for any better. The food was gerat and very cheep. There is a very steep hill to climb to get to it but if you take your time its fine, i had a buggie and and managed just fine. The rooms were cleaned every two days and the sheets changed, what more could you ask for.

overall the holiday was fantastic

The accommodation at Tsaki Sea View II was extremely basic for self catering. In the kitchen there was only a frying pan to cook in and no sharp knife, we had to buy mugs and towels as we were only provided with small towels and very small cups. Rooms were cleaned every other day which was fine but the standard of cleanliness wasn't brilliant. There were no drawers to put our clothes in but there was a wardrobe. The shower room was old and basic but served a purpose and only 2 days out of the 2 weeks we stayed was there no hot water, other than that there seemed to be plenty! The pool was great but the sun goes behind the mountains at 5pm (as it does on the beach) putting an end to sunbathing. The pool bar and food is excellent, very reasonable prices and very friendly service  . The view from the pool was amazing, Sea View is definitely correct, you could see as far as the mainland. I would definitely not recommend this accommodation to the faint hearted, unfit or those who don't wish to hire a vehicle of some sorts. The hike up from the village is to say the least dangerous  and definitely not for young families. It takes about 15/20 mins which in itself is acceptable. However, the walk is along the busy main route that connects Corfu with Kavos and gets very busy with mad Greek drivers and tourist buses and there is NO footpath. A torch is a definite must. You can get a Taxi but it costs 6 euro each way which adds up during your stay. There are busses the last one at 10.30pm. If I'd have known this before I went I would have chosen somewhere else to go.

Benitsis is a previously lively village that has now died, this means that there are lots of empty night clubs and bars which aren't a pretty site. However, the Old Town is very attractive with lots of good Tavernas and an especially good Taverna that does freshly made Pizza in a real fire pizza oven, we ate here several times. The beaches are not all that good, they are pebble and close to the road, you can hire sun beds for the day, not sure of the cost as we didn't do this. Benitsis itself is on the main road that connects Corfu to Kavos so the road can get very busy. There are plenty of places to hire bicycles, mopeds and cars. We hired bicycles and went Messonghi (20 mins) which has many more bars and tavernas and the beach is much nicer. Issos beach is also well worth a visit, long sandy beach with clear, warm water. Overall it's not a place that we would go back to.

My daughter and I just spent a week here and had the most relaxing holiday. The views were amazing from our balcony, and generally the complex was clean and very quiet. The walk into Benitses was managable but I wouldn't want to walk back with bags of shopping nor at night. Local taxi rates are fair, but you need to ask and check that they will only charge 6 euros first. The buses don't seem to run very often, and we gave up and walked although I met other people out there that travelled all over the island using them. Paul and Charlie that run the bar seem to know everything that you need to know, and can even help in the hiring of a car if you want one. We had a lovely break, it suited us fine, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want lively local bars and clubs, it is quite isolated.

We have just arrived back from the Tsaki Sea View Apts. They are in a superb position, it is a 15 to 20 minute walk into the village but there is a local bus that stops at the bottom of the hill and a taxi costs only 6 euro. The apartments are very basic but spotless and the views are magnificent.

The pool is the best i have seen and we have stayed in top quality places.Paul and Charlie who run the pool bar are fantastic and do a nice selection of sandwiches and toasties very reasonable. We would def go back here it was such lovely friendly place and i dont think you would get views anywhere for the price!!

In the summer of 2004 I spent 2 fantastic weeks stayinG at the sea view compleX ( I ) The rooms where in great condition, everything was brand new inside and out, and I seen the cleaners there every day, working very hard. The staff where very friendly and the Bar food was delicious especially the milkshakes. The Pool was very clean and the weather was excellent. The village is a 15 minute walk away. However, the comments that where made on Complex (II) are very true, the building is a lot older, and also has a different owner. It is a totally separate block from Complex ( I )

I am currently in text message contact with my girlfriend who has just arrived at the Tsaki Seaview with her friend for a week's holiday. They are very upset by the condition of their room at this accommodation:
- the room is filthy
- the shower doesn't work
- the bathroom sink does not provide hot water
- the cooker socket is rusted or burnt out and is therefore unsafe to use
- the cooker is dirty
- the fridge is rusty
- the accommodation is 50 minutes walk along a busy road to the nearest town (not 20 minutes as advertised)

Maybe they got a crap room and the others are great. Do you want to take the chance?

We are staying in the Tsaki Complex from 21st June 2004 for two weeks. Can anyone let me know any more information on it, is it far from the airport?

Sally T

We had a great holiday here and really enjoyed it but there were one or two things that people need to be aware of before staying there - firstly, it is a good 20 minute walk from civilisation and the nearest supermarket and of course, Corfu drivers sometimes made that walk quite hairy. Secondly the complex is up a steep hill. It takes a good 5 minutes to get up it.
The actual apartments were basic but clean although in our 2 week stay we only saw the cleaners 3 times and they only changed the sheets/towels once which I think is pretty poor.
There is a pool which is gorgeous and very clean. The bar by it is a bit pricy but the bloke who runs it, Paul, is very friendly and funny. We met loads of great people and everyone was willing to help each other out.
All in all, a very enjoyable holiday.

anyone know anything about the Tsaki sea view (II) apartments in benitses? Are the two blocks close to each other? I will be there for last 2 weeks of august 2003 - will report back then.
