Beautiful resort, ok yeah so someof the beach was pebbles (stops getting sand in embarrasing places) going back later this year and i cant wait

This beach was right across the road from our apartments and although its completely full of stones (no sand unless your actually in the water), its still a nice beach. Sunbeds cost €6 for the day, which includes 2 beds and an umbrella. The water is really clear and really nice to swim in. It even has a blue flag. And there is only person who trys to sell you cd's and dvd's, his name is Charles and he is a pet. Every day he would come over and talk to us, and I think we only bought one dvd off him!! He normally walks the beach about 2 o'clock !

We found Ipsos to be a very nice resort stayed at the seascape apartment ( excellent ) clean friendly family run place located right on the beach. beach was shingle but a few yards into the sea and you were on the sand. Ideal for chidren as the sea was shallow and safe for those who could not swim. Excellent choice of water sports. Shopping would recommend a trip to Corfo town 1 euro on the local bus which runs every half hr or so. July/August is for the young and lively,But sept is just right for a relaxing holiday.

Non Stop Traffic On The Main Road A Few Feet Away, Expensive Sun Beds, Pebble And Shingle Beach Hurts Your Feet When Getting In And Out Of The Sea, But Once In You Can Wade Out Quite Far As It Slopes Gently, Great For Kids And Weak Swimmers, Crystal Clear Water

Ipsos beach is really quite nice. It's on the main road so it's bustly, you've always got access to shops/restaurants/toilets - it's not gonna be paradise but for a town beach it is nice. There's boat trips/water taxi's from the jetty which can take you to a quieter beaches round up the coast; Barbati, Kassiopi - but generally all beaches in this area of Corfu are pebbly. The water is very clear and nice to swim in - I didn't see any sewage near the beach - but then all sewage does end up in the sea eventually - the only turd I've ever seen floating in the sea was at Whitehaven beach - a tropical island in Australia so you could run into one in any part of the ocean!

were you lot on the same beach as me??????? Im sorry but it was a dive. The restaurants pump sewage in to the sea!!!! I know this for a fact A) because we saw it and B)one of the nice PR blokes had photographic evidence!!!! The beach was not only red hot and burnt your feet (i dont mind this on sand) it had razor sharp pepples too!!!! Also the only jelly fish in the whole of corfu found its way to ipsos beach and on to my m8s arm!!! There was one good thing- this little old guy selling doughnuts!!! He had the best doughnuts, melon, bananas and grapes eva!!! he rocked!!! Anyone going there buy a lilo to sunbathe on coz they are 7 euros but it 6 euros a day for the sun beds!!!!

Water is clean, but the beach is dreadfull! The main road of ipsos is about two meteres from the beach.

Never hire a pedalow on a windy day!
Very clean beach but always wear flip flops cos the pebbles can sometimes hurt your feet when you get out of the water!

we had the best holiday at the borghese pension hotel .the owner and family were the nicest people you could hope to meet and there was no problems that i can think of .there isnt a pool but all you do is go to a place with a pool as the most of them accept non recidents so there is no trouble with that .very courtious and clean envirorment.we will definatelly be going back again as soon as possible.

The beach of Ipsos has been one of the cleanest for the last years.

pebberly beach kept nice and clean.good for swimming.we hired a peddalow and went out quite a long way the sea was crystal clear and the views buetiful

The pebbled beach was great, it certainly makes a change from sand, I felt very safe swimming here, with clear calm waters. It has great views with lots of water activities going on. And better still, if you like Italians then the posing potential is very good!

The beach is always kept clean although it's made up of pebbles, not sand. Also, in my opinion, it is way too close to the main road.
