but if you want a good bar in kavos go to rolling stone! the go karts r quite gd too! in the aphrodite there r some nice apartments (by the pool) and some rank ones! the cleaner is really annoying to, theiving wee whore! the foam party at sex is gd but if you go under the foam youl be sick because you cant breath and if you do it aint nice! the chicken currys in kavos r wicked but the food is quite dear, especially in desperados! i liked venue as wel and the police r very arrogant and go about looking to lift people so watch yourself! the prs r annoying and the smell can really get to you! the beach is never busy so that helps! i am 17 and had myself a 27 yr old and she was one of 4 so theres luck for every1 in kavos! dont break anything in your apartment because you get charged for everything! 5 euros every glass that goes missing! and dont listein to ppl who say you have to pay to take sum1 bk to your room, you dont. dont go out til about 12/half 12 because thats wen it all kicks off and the hotdogs from the guys on the streets r diff class! jus dont buy a kebab there as they use the same kebab meat and never change it! the laundrette is 20 euros for one bag and if you want your stuff ironed its 2 euros every piece of clothing! get drink b4 u go out because u can get amstel for 1.50 and its 4 euros in the bars!

hi everyone ma and my mate just got back from kavos it was brilliant best bar in kavos is rockys the police dont come by that often maybe every other nightu must eat at the olympia resturant opposite the aphrodite appartments thats where we stayed they were lovely appartments! oh yea u must have sox on the beach i did with a pr it was f*****g exellent my mate had the tango bars pr! the prs are so annoying though they might be the only reason if u have a s**t holiday! first night 36 year old (im 18) 4 in total in 7 nights did not go out last two nights early flight and hangover!

me n my 2 other mates went there last week..and it was really great..we all got drunk every single nite..if u r lookin for a nice club to go i wud recommend the limelight,the barn, show bar, and the sex club (home of the foam party)!!!!! wicked!!!!!!

O AND IT GETS ANNOYIN WEN THEY PAUSE THE MUSIC EVERY 2 MINUTES BECAUSE THE POLICE DRIVE BY!

i just thought id let you all know bout kavos. its one good holiday. dont beleive no s**t u hear. the pubs dont shut early, but the bars on the main stretch have to turn the music of when the police are about, but then it goes straight back on when ther gone, and the clubs dont open till 2 and close bout 6/7. i went in may and the weather was s**t hot. i had in total bout 15 hors sleep and im goin back august the second for a week. s**t loads of water sports - done em all! paraglidings s**t though. the headf**kers are just a pint full of shots of spirits and yes they f**k your head big time. email me to meet up for a top time ther> martinflynn8@msn.com o yeah you gotta do the jet ski's. im goin august the second!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Kavos for two weeks in JUne and it was excellent+we are trying to book up again later this summer!We stayed at the Corfu Sea Garden Apts in Aspro Kavos, really nice+clean but watch out for cleaners stealing your shoes!The nightlife is great+the drink prices were good too(Th Barn was v.expensive!).Our favourite bar is Edelweiss cos its got good atmoshere, the owner is crazy and the PR guys are great too, especially Pretty guy,Happy Days and Sexy Tongue guy!Rolling Stone+Future are good too.TIP:Bring toilet paper in your bag cos there is never any!Kavos was brilliant!X

We were at oddyseus from 4th june for 2 weeks and thought it was ace. The reps were ace and made sure we had an amazing time. The rooms were basic but clean. If anyone can figure out how to use the showers without soaking the whole bathroom, let me know!!
The pool and pool bar were excellent however i didnt like the fact you couldnt even bring a bottle of water down from your room and had to buy them at the bar for 2 euros!!
All in all a great holiday. Check out limelight, scorers and face bar for all the latest movies.

Hi Kaovs is gonna be mint we 2 bolton birds over from the 12th July 2004. The clubs do not shut at 12 I dont know who has said that but nothing even kicks off until 10-11pm. They are open all night the best clubs are S-EX for Foam parties and Limelight with the pool.

I and my wife have just got back and we had a really good time. Good points 1. Plenty of bars 2. Loads of women 3. Plenty to watch on TV in bars. Bad points 1. PR's are extremely annoying 2. Hey me and my boyfriend went to these apartments on May 23rd for one week! Apartments were Very Clean but basic!
To be honest they were ok for all we paid! The walk to the main strip is 10 minutes maximum and although its a dodgy road at night we walked home every nite!
Not a lot to do in Kavos durin the day except drink, play pool, go-karts or scuba diving n thats about it. Definately not a place for couples the clubs are full of locals n they are quite sleazy girls so beware!
Theres a wee bar called Bonkers on the main strip say hiya to Costa and Parlos the barmen and the sexy PR guys WAHEY! from me hehe we spent every nite in there its kinda cheesy pop music good laugh!
If your goin you got to eat in Desperados Mexican restaurant i never seen a meal so big in ma life! anyways all stop borin ye love debz n gary x p.s beach at apartments is p**h

KAVOS IS ABSOLOUTLY WICKED! i went here last summer and it was great. the best place to go for dance music is futures and the best place for a chill is atlantis. Theres a 24hour beach party with a bonfire. Say hi to da guys in twins bar and the place next door (cant remember wot it was called) they are soooo cute! I'm really jealous of all you who have booked to go this summer! I'd jump at the chance to go again! All you girlies who are goin, you'll get free drinks everywhere you go, its well good! Wen me n ma mate went for 2 weeks, we spent over £3,000 in the first week, but me n ma mate love shoppin n boozin it up as soon as we wake up. there are alright deals on drinks, 4 red bull n vodkas + a free shot was only 3 euro's for me n ma mate! i recommend slush puppie n vodka!
if theres 6 of u goin, its gonna b bloody expensive. take as much money as u want!

Hey im going to Kavos in July, staying at the Courogianos Beach Club for 2 weeks, theres 6 of us going and its going to be bloody mental whatever we do. but we were wonding how much spending money you would recommend we take...we wanna go out lots and get very pissed but not every night. thinking we could just flash at passers by to blag drinks (hmmm...bad idea me thinks)but i know someone who spend 4 gand in 2 weeks at kavos, so what does anyone think?

Also i would lyk 2 add, we met the sweetest scottish man called spencer! he was sooo kind! and had gorgeous eyes! we met quite alot of ppl actually....

For All u bloody moaners out there, me and ma mate thought it was excellent! if ur goin 2 kavos, stay in the morfeas hotel. its great! and costas (a worker) is friendly! he fixed mine and my mates door for free and bought us lollipops!! he dint try anythin on with us either. we found that Show Bar, Stoned Cafe Bar and Splash were the best places to drink! me and ma mate even worked at stoned 4 a lil while! our 2 weeks were excellent! we met 7 fit middlesborough boys! (perry, hugho, jonway, cripsy, ian, etc etc) and welsch ones 2! (ben, craig etc etc) me n ma r goin bk there soon to be a P.R's!

we stayed at the jessica apartments don't go there! kavos stinks, theres sick everywhere, u hav 2 watch where ure treading, so dont wear heels! the drains r all open so wen its hot, the smell is, well, smells of s**t and piss! the little old woman who smells of b.o. is so annoying and shouts at u al the time, u feel like ure in a prison, it was the worst experience of r lives!

well it was my first time in corfu and i had heard stories about open sewers/stench/18-30 p**s heads etc so i made my own mind up.
me and my 14 year old daughter stayed in the acrodelon appts about a twenty min walk from kavos.the appts were fab, basic but clean and friendly! the walk to kavos was so pretty, a night thousands of fire flys come out. kavos was a bit mad after 11.30pm,so we went back to the appts. we found the food cheap and cheerful, drinks normal prices but on the whole a nice cheap and cheerful week away.
the weather was amazing, 100 degrees every day.
the beach was full of seaweed but we were warned about this before going and the hotels did come out everyday and move as much as possible. if your looking to see greece at its finest, you know you aint gonna find it in kavos,i loved it and have booked the same hotel and week next year.

What are the Chandris Apartments like?

Hi, To all the people headin over, Kavos is the place to be if u r young and up for a gr8 time. It was the best two weeks of my life and me and my friend r headin back over next season to work. Everyone is really friendly and we stayed in the Stavoss Apartments which were lovely too. Don't listen to all the moaners, the nightlife is superb and I can't wait to go back. TAKE ME BACK KAVOS!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S reccommend the boat trip to the blue Lagoon - must go, but book with the people on the beach, not the reps, much more fun and it's only young ones up for a laugh.

well dont go to kavos hotel it was really crap!!
the man on the door called pedro he askes people 4 sex and smokes drugs.
the manager goes into your room looking at your stuff.
you have to pay to have some one come back to the room its 10 eros so beware.
you have to pay to use the pool.
apart from that the night life was to die for.
dont have the head f**kers they f**k you up big time.

well me and me m8 ellen went to kavos to have a right laugh meet new people and get really really pissed and thats what we did.
Every one was so nice out there met these 6 lads from liverpool which were lovely.
The hotel was crap though the staff were werdios but i we only ended up staying in the hotel 1 night out of the 7 so we were ok.
We really enjoyed the holiday and r going again in aug 2004 with more m8s there will be 15 of us essex girls so watch out kavos here we come.

We thought Kavos was going to be too lively for us, and were getting a bit scared, but upon arriving, there was something for everyone, except maybe a ballroom dance hall. ANY teenager/young person would like it here. Slight nag : Kavos has some uncovered sewers, so occasionally in stifling heat and windy weather, you can catch wind of some nasty smells. I thoroughly recommend Eve's Garden restaurant. any 3 courses for 8 euros + free wine!!! Also, Kavos is good for taking trips to Greece, being so near. One long road : you can't really get lost, even in the most drunken state (we found this out). A bar, club and restaurant for every person in the world under 50 years of age, however be aware of the slightly annoying PR people, who will hug and kiss anyone to get them into your establishment. Thoroughly Recommmended. THUMBS UP!!! :->

Got back from Kavos 2 days ago and would go back in a second!!! Had a fantastic hol...ok...the beach is nothing special but there are heaps of lovely, clean pools open to everyone. Myself and a group of friends stayed in the Chandris Apartments and they were immaculate & everyone was really friendly. If you are up for a laugh you will love Kavos....take no notice of all the moaners about the beach, the smell etc, its not that bad!! Highly recommend The Show Bar, Stoned and the Barn!! Have fun!!xx

this place is hell on earth... do not go here and unless you wish to pay through the nose for everything. a cup of tea or coffee was around 4 euros and the beer around 3.50 euro. the place smells of sick, the streets are coated with human waste and the people (british) are the scum of the earth.

in 1 week we witnessed people in our appartments being arrested for ****, theft and criminal damage. our appartment door was smashed in and we felt very unsafe at all times, we would not go anywhere alone and even when there was 2 of us we felt that the groups of lads surrounding us would turn at anytime and mug us.

i am not a person that likes to moan about holidays but i can honestly advise you that everyone that we talked to (from 18yrs to 50yrs) wanted to get home as soon as possible. do not go!!!! save yourself!!!!

Arrived back home from Kavos after being there less than 24hrs. We thought it was the cheapest, tackiest, dirtiest and noisiest place we had ever been to. I would never want to even pass through such a place in my life again. I had heard stories about Corfu and Kavos but I could't believe how bad it actually was. The beach had all sorts of things (indescribable) on it. Awful, awful awful. If you're an adolescent you may love the night life but if you're over 20 you'll have matured past the point of enjoying this cheap trick town..... If you want to get blind drunk (you would need to be blind !) be up all night, (you will be!) and like hanging round rubbish tips (its a dump!), then go to Kavos....... We hated Kavos!

just got back on 1 sep 03. great place for anyone under 25 with a strong stomach and no taste buds. if you do not like drinking vast quantities of suspicious fluids and random sex in random places then this is not the place for you. for families going to kavos the best advice i can give, which i was also given in resort, is get a hire car and get out every day. the boat trips are also very good to escape the rubbish tip that is kavos town. i went with a mate and his family and our 12 year old boys loved the sights, they saw more bare boobs in 2 weeks than in the previous 12 years :-) on arrival at 7am the rep told us that we should stay out of kavos between 10pm and 9am. that gives the drunken party animals time to trash the place and some poor sod time to clean it up again in the morning. if you do have the misfortune to be there when the clean up begins then at all costs avoid the "s**t sucker truck". this tanker goes round all the bars to empty their loos! extreeeeeeeeeemly bad smell!

we were in the corfu sea gardens in aspro kavos which is about 15 mins walk out of town. the accom is ok with large apartments but is "selectivly" cleaned (do not look under the beds!!!) as mainly families stay there the prices are a total rip off (bottle of amstel 4 euro, small coke 2.50)as they know families will not go into kavos town with young kids. the beach is downwind from kavos town so it catches all the debris from the night before and if you see what happens on the beach at night you do not want to be downstream of that in the morning! reminder, must buy shares in durex :-) the staff there are very good and give loads of good advice on how and where to get away from kavos. best, cheapest and friendliest hire car is sambas which is at the st peter's end of kavos town. best places we found, out of kavos, were palamonas beach near agios matthious, agios georgios and santa barbara. all are on the west coast and have great beaches with good quality and reasonabley priced tavernas.
if you are going as a family i urge you to reconsider or take loads of money to pay for trips and cars. we still had a good time but at a cost.

We are a late 30s couple who have just come back from an allocated on arrival holiday in Kavos - we stayed in The Morfeas Hotel, which was clean and accomodating (the Greek Night is a rip off) and everyone was friendly. Kavos is a dump, although 20 years ago its just the type of place we would have loved - it's buzzin'.
Anyone in kavos must try eating at Pizza Garden, a Greek restaurant offering a 3 course meal for 8 euro - the food is lovely and the owner is so obliging.
All in all we had a good holiday - but not really an over 30s resort.
By the way - try the boat trip to Paxos, Antipaxos and mainland Greece, it's well worth 15 euro!!

just got back from kavos hada wonderful time, stayed in the lefkimi hotel smack bang in the middle of the streeet, very clean, tidy and the staff are good, lots of bars that show the latest films i advised everyone to have a nap before they go out on the nite, as it can be very tiring

Have just got back from Ksvos and had a brill time! I was really worried as i had been reading a lot of things about Kavos, people saying it was crap and the worst holiday ever, but it was good the place was nice the beach was ok had quite a lot of seaweed but if you go past that its nice and clear, the bars were great! cheap drinks and everyone was friendly, it was noisey at our apartments (marina beach apartments) and they were clean but basic. I do agree with the people that said it smells cos it does sometimes, not sure what it is though! overall Kavos is for the young and lively and if you like water sports there is a lot to do during the day other than sleep. so not as bad as I thought it was going to be! would go again for a mad week but not for a realaxing holiday.

If you want peaceful then go out anytime between say 11 in the morning and 6 in the evening. bare in mind that this is also the hottest time to be out!!!! There are loads of little souvenir shops and supermarkets and bars that show new films so that will keep you occupied in the day time, also go on as many boat trips and coach trips as u can, usually priced at about 13 euros. Also go to the beach in the day time and get a nice tan.

Then i recomend going home for a nap at about 7ish and then coming back out at about 10 o clock because thats when the night life starts up. Me and my mates went out every single night, it was great. Always try and haggle with the PRs and bar staff cos they will say one price to you but you can always manage to lower that price with your powers of persuasion. Best deal i found was 3 smirnoff ices for 5 euros and 3 free shots too!!!!! that deal cannot be beaten anywhere. but generally it was 3 cocktails for 7 euros and 3 free shots so that also is not bad.

It was my birthday on the 2nd august so i went into evry bar and told them it was my birthday and i got plenty of free drinks that night. I had the best time and i would definitly go back again. everyone is jst so friendly. The bars close at about 2 o clock, maybe 3, but there are a few clubs that u can go to afterwards, there is a beach club called "heaven" which is good, and one called "after". Also make sure u go to mr beans bar, look out for a really tall PR called Ian and a short guy called Graham. they are the two nicest guys ever. also go to the edelweiss and there is a cute bar man called antonio. go to bonkers bar too and chat to mike and mark. i can guarantee that u will get picked up at least once while u are walking past all the bars, u come to expect it after a while!!!!

Make sure u go to the barn complex and get a pizza or a sandwich, there is a guy who works there after 9 o clock, he is so sweet, ask him for a sexy pizza and he will say "lovely jubbely"!!! He's so funny and short and he wears tight blue trousers with white pin stripes. Go to fire bar and there is a nice looking PR called Timos.

kavos, well, wouldnt go back again but on the whole was a ok holiday. its mental! but gets borin after awhile as the nights are just the same every night. its expensive but the clubs are free to get in. i stayed in nikos apartment which was about 30 mins walk from kavos so it was peacful were we were staying. the people who stop u to go in there clubs are rather annoying so just ignore them and walk on although i was told to get my head out my a**e once id done that lol.
plenty of places to eat at a resonable price, drinks are expensive though and id recomend to take extra money incase.
i'd recomend buzz and snobs for a crazy night out and beetle pub and jungle bar for more a lively place but quieter.
beach was ok supose, sea was abit s**t at the frount but is clear further out. sun is constanlty shining so take plenty of sun cream too. nothing much to do and would not recomend the pub crawl, its s**te, total rip off along with the trip to corfu town.nice area but s**t for shopping to be honest.
this holiday resort is for young people only! lol xx

Kavos is brilliant. Don't know about going with your mum though. Its a place for getting pissed and clubbing all the time, you wont go know where without someone making a move on ya, so i hope your mums cool. But don't worry about it you will have a great time.

Blindin!! London lads loved it! the nightlife could vary from good to excellent when big DJs came to town.

i went to kavos on the 7th of july for two weeks i thought it was the best holiday ive been on it was mint,im going back next year defo!the night life was just the best but in the day it was pritty s**t!i lived at macdonalds cause it was right afacing me but i went for a meal sometimes cause it was 3 course meal for 8 euro's which was nice enough.in the day you can sit in the bars and watch jackass or friends but there may be films on aswell and the bear is cheap aswell!

Im off to KAVOS tomorrow, with my boyfriend, wish id read a few of these before i booked it, anyway - as long as theres bars - ill just get pissed !!!

as soon as we got off the plane we were hit by a smell that can only be described as s**tty. we had been warned of this as the air doesn't tend to move much so it wasn't a complete shock. after waiting an hour and a half watching the same cases go round the carousel, we were finally on the coach and on our way to kavos. by the time we had arrived in kavos the sun had come up and the the temperature jumped 5 - 10 degrees. there we a few people staggering a long the main street having just finished a binge drinking session. i knew that would be us in 24 hours, i wasn't wrong.

having been to faliraki last year, i was surprised at the size of kavos. i would say the strip is about twice as long and there was a more 24 hour feel to the place, perfect for our drinking holiday.

there are some really good bars and clubs to choose from but the names of most of them escape me. too much drink? probably. limelights was brilliant. you can use the pool in the day and most days were spent there after coming of the beach. at night the pool is full again, full of people and bodily fluids (couples s**gging). try not to swollow the water! also take it easy round the pool at night when pissed up. attempting to throw our mate in the pool went wrong and basically we through him the wrong way onto the concrete pool-side. he saw the funny side...when he came round as it was an accident. he lives to tell the tale. the beach incidently is ok. busy during the day but there is quite alot of litter and is dead by about 5:30pm.

back to bars which is what the holiday was mainly centred around. all have their pr's trying to get you in (physically dragging you in some cases) which after a few days into the hol became quite annoying but is to be expected. they all have 3 for 1, 4 for 1 deals on cocktails, beers etc and free shots. in kavos you must try a head f**ker, a pint of 16 spirits and a dash of juice of some sort. lethal! it's easy to get absolutely bollocksed and not spend too much. most of the action centres around places such as the atlantis club (24 hrs), and ...no still can't remember the names of any more places. there is a pr bird around this stretch though. tall, blonde with the best legs you've ever seen. can't remember her name either but had me photo with her, sweet!

my mates and i had a really good time in kavos and defintely recommend it.

here's to the lads (and bird), judo, chopper, phoenix, and guy and catherine (who are there for a few more days, lucky sods) and of course myself weetabix.

me and my boyfriend have just come back from kavos the other day. we went for 2 weeks. we stayed at the morfeas hotel. we both thought it was lovely. i thought it was the best hotel in kavos. it was very clean and eveyone are friendly. in the day time, we just chilled by the pool and listened to some class tunes. we never really went on the beach, because it was a little crummey!, but dont let that put u off, u will still have a great time!

meals are very cheap, it was 8.50 euro for a 3 course meal. every resturant was nice apart from one "forgot what its called now" but this bloke works there called marcus. they try to kill u in there.

nightlife is fantatastic, people dancing on the streets, off there f**king heads! and just having a great time! i didnt see one fight whilst being there.

all i can say is make the most of it because its a right laugh. we are off again next year it was that good, but with more people!

and girls there are well more lads than lasses there!

returned last wkend, going back to work is such an anti-climax!
when u arrive at the airport, u will smell s**t! the place humms
queueing for the luggage takes an age and the transfer to resort will make u feel ill but this is soon forgotten come nightfall.

general stuff about the place, sun is constant, beach is a bit littered with too few topless babes on for my liking, the sea is warm and calm as, the food is reasonably priced with limited choice, appartments, well best put it basic so done be cooking no 5-course meal there, the place has a good ratio of male-female all with varying vocal ability

once it gets dark out there, the place picks up, loadsa ppl roaming the street and unlimited amount of bars to goto. the pr's might p**s u off a bit but most of em (female ones)are well fit so if u can't beat em, join em and go drink in their bar cos if u pass one, the next comes to hassle ya.
they are all too keep to offer up to 4 for 1 on cocktails, and chuck in a free shot for every drink bought, some places even give u very cheap champers if u buy at least 6 drinks, all sounds good but some drinks are watered/pissed down.

places to go:
-limelight pool bar for well chilled out daytime, pissed up swimin at night
-the barn for cheesy music heaven
-the venue nightclub is an awesome place
-fire bar for a spot of pole dancin
-twins pub has a funny dj called charlie who takes da piss
-mr. beans funny pr gals carried me in
cant really remember the others but nearly all good

u gotta also try a drink called head fker, apparently 16 shots in a pint glass with something elso toppin it up, i downed in 1 and i knew i werent walking straight come 2 hrs lata

shout out to phoenix, weetabix, chop, guy + cat

althought good nightlife, been there, done that so will be gettin wasted elswhere next year

just came back from a week in kavos, wanna go back already!!!! its a wicked place for working on your tan during the day, & having it large in the evenings. if your looking for luxury, then kavos is definately not for u. but if ur looking 4 a good p**s up, then u cant find a better place than kavos. drinks r soooo cheap. u always get free shots with all ur drinks, but sum places water them down. be warned, the pr's will not leave u alone. each one will approach u about 20 times a night & they will not get outta your face. everywhere u go it jus stinks of s**t & u cant even put loo paper down the loo. have 2 put it in the bin. the beach is a complete dive, so dont even waste your time going there!!! & make sure u take bite spray with u coz its guarenteed that u will be biten a thousands times b4 u go home!!! but overall, had a wicked time & wouldnt say no 2 visiting again. make sure u go 2 the beach at night. sex have a bonfire on the beach & heaven are open 24 hours. kavos will not be forgotten......

it was mint man, b***hes naked everywhere. p***y galore!!! clubs are f**kin ace but it stinks of s**t. dont go on to the beach at night there is a smelly gypo with a long coat on who chases you down the beach then ****s you.kavos is great i will go back next year.
ps. during the day g*y men go on to the beach.

Just arrived back after 1 week in kavos. Stayed at the Kapris Hotel in the Barn Complex. the rooms were very basic and didnt offer air conditioning. the maid service was crap but the locals were nice. All the bars were a bit samey and it certainly was not cheap. Also we were harrassed far too much by the P.Rs. Heaven beach club was excellent and The Drunken Squid Steaks are the best i've tasted. Lots of fit ladies and cheap markets to buy beer. I had a good time but i wont be going back.

we have just got back from st peters which is just outside kavos,we stayed in batarolla aprtment, the apartment was crap, dark and noisy, we got broke into the first night, all of our stuff was taken, the rep was a joke, only turned up when he wanted, no help, the taxi driver was more help to us. on a good note the weather was good, 100 deg every day, went into kavos, club was smart but dead at 3 in the morning! the water park was aqua land was good, if you have booked to go here, cancel and go to another place. if you do go watch your belongings, never trust anyone. we wouldnt go back at all,

i love kavos after working two seasons out there i decided my liver had taken a beating and i decided to give it a rest, im going back two years on and no doubt will love it just as much! the nightlife is mega kavos is the party capital of corfu and one not for the faint hearted!
the apartments aren't great but hey i only used them for sleeping and getting ready in? anyone expecting four star luxury don't travel to kavos, you won't get it!
the bars are like clubs and are excellent for spotting potential eye candy.( before the beer goggles are on! )
the clubs are big party palaces where you can dance your little a**es off and snog all those sexy brown gods!! ( the beer goggles are usually firmly on by now!!)
oh and if your like me and want to rest your tender head choose the beach over the pools, just watch out for sexy donut man...rodney you plonker!

There is some freaky people here. Like the fat gypo you will feel sorry for at first but she is in fact pure evil. Watch out for one of her many kids-there is this one that puts her bangles on you then shots and demands money. There is a tout at fire par with a long evil looking face-she is tall, thin and has blond hair-her face will scar you. There is a nice fruit seller guy and he has an older copy cat-do not trust him. There is a good crazt donut guy-(little obsessed but) & he too has a copycat who acts like ali-G, not amusing.

kavos is for all those young people who like to party...the place is great, abit on the smelly side as they dont have very good drainage......can be abit nasty esp when you have a hangover just dont need to be smellin stale s**t!!!!! the beach isnt much to talk about but if you have a pool at your hotel then u can just chill there all day ;)

kavos, well what can you say. fun, great for large groups of people and there were people s**gging on the street. my kind of place! everyone should go, especially if your a young fit bird (whoops lady!!!). infact bring all your mates... i'm goin from the 20th june.

kavos was the best place id ever been to apart from the smell of s**t,puke and stale s**t. its a mad place, anyone (even without license)can drive a car(well maybe that was just us), any old bam can hire a scooter then break their leg. the worst thing was the dj at our pool(hotel morpheas)that jonny kipper guy, the biggest walking w**k ever. and watch out for those gypsy rose seller b***hes, they tried to steal my bag so i had to fight them. kavos was great, pure mad, i was so sad to come home. id reccomend going to all young people but i wouldnt advise it if u hav a partner and wanna stay faithful-it so wont happen!!!

Went to kavos in september this year. The Beaches are crap and seemed totally unhygenic! The town and the nightlife is also very poor. Satyed at the OULA APARTMENTS which were very nice, shame about the staff!! Be warned if you go to kavos - dont stay at the oula apartments-the owner of this accomodation is making a tidy little earner out of charging you for damages you know nothing about! He tried this with us and when we challenged him he decided to kick our party out!! The reps from Olympic Holidays were also a total waste of time, consequently we returned home after ownly being in corfu for 2 days!!! -

Kavos was brilliant! Me and a mate went and had the best time! Ok, so it's noisy, but isn't that what it's all about?! We stayed in the Lefkimi Hotel which was on the main street and it wasn't too bad. Mind you, it was a bit smelly...bad drainage man!!! But I'll definately go back!

I have got to say Kavos is the most discusting place I have ever come across it is so noisy at night you cant sleep till at least 7am as far as I was concerned the nighlife wasnt even that good the bars were dirty basic and the music was crap anyone who raves about this place obviously hasnt been anywhere decent- you never get any peace there is always someone trying to drag you into a bar sell you fruit donuts or boat trips and they dont take no lightly!! I have one good thing to say - Pizza garden _ a fantastic meal and very cheap, and another thing the apartments were crap infact everyone I spoke to said they had crap apartments the place stinks (literally!!)

Kavos was a very busy town lots going on day and night. The beach was ok plenty of sunbeds available. The nightlife is very good lots of bars,clubs and restaurants to choose from. All the greek people are very friendly and polite.

We returned back from Kavos weeks ago and we still haven't stopped talking about the night life .It is the best and coming back to dublin was like a kick in the teeth.Going back nxt year. Snobs was class!

Just got back from kavos yesterday and had our first good night sleep in over a week. we had a good holiday in corfu but only because of the water sports and the day trips that we went on if it had not been for these it would have been terrible. Its true what they say about the smell it does stink but not all of the time you just get the occasional whiff of raw sewedge. Also we'd heard before we went that it was full of mossy's but we only saw one the whole week were guessing the the swarms of wasps must have eaten them all and we did have two inch beetles in the bathroom. We wouldnt go to kavos again infact its put us off going to greece again. If your planning on going the boat trip to paxos is well worth the money and so is a visit to the capital kerkyra (corfu town)We hired a car and scooter and went twice because theres so little to do in kavos. Theres also some nice places on the way to town imperticular benites. The food in corfu was very good but watch out for the stands in the streets selling fast food people are throwing up over them during the day and then eating off of them at night. The jolly chef resturant was excellent and serve excellent saganki chicken. The face bar was excellent and shows new release films all day. We hired a speed boat for an hour which was cool and also went on the jet bikes. The water sports are quite expensive but well worth it. The main let down to the holiday was the return. We had to be out of our apartment at 12.00p. on monday but our flight wasnt until 6.45am tuesday the coach came to pick us up at 4.00am and it took about 50mins to get to the airport. The airport is a nightmare we qued an hour to just get into the airport and then another 20mins to checkin and that was only because we pushed in. finishing on a high note though the weather was fantastic in the high 30's the whole time we were there and the day we went on the boat trip to paxos it was upto 40. so we've come back with lovely tans. If your going soon have a lovely time but make sure you take enough money with you to explore other parts of corfu because staying in kavos is a night mare.

kavos is an absolute hellhole full of the lowest form of retarded, pissed up brit scum. these imbeciles are so far down the food chain it’s actually impossible to communicate with them. most of the people that run the bars and clubs are letching greasy tossers just interested taking as much money off you as possible. the beach is filthy, the streets are filthy and the whole place smells of puke and s**t. beer and spirits are watered down cheap crap. psycho drivers try to run you down in the streets. the “food” is laughable. the accommodation is a joke. i could call it blackpool in greece but frankly that would be way to harsh on blackpool. do yourselves a favour, don’t go.

dead by day but after about 6 suddenley shakes off the hangover and wakes up. thank god. if it wasn't for the bars and clubs there would be nothing to attract you here. be warned about constant smell of s**t though!

This is defanitely a resort for the big groups of 18-25 yr olds... Defanitley NOT a family place or for the elderly couple etc. Dead by day, Jumping by night... It was ideal for us! And we'd return...

The most disgusting place i have ever been to!! The best thing about the holidays were the two day trips we booked, one to mainland greece and a day trip to Corfu town which ment we could get out of Kavos. The place is full of loud, drunk 16-18 year olds on their first holiday abroad. I was an old git at 22 years old. If this had of been my first visit to greece i would have never gone back, but at least I know that the other Greek islands (and the rest of Corfu) are nothing like this!

Kavos is cheap fun and if you go to the right places you'll have a great holiday. But if you're the kind of person that needs clean sheets everyday then you'll be more worried about what you are walking in, than where you are walking to.
