Lovely cheap friendly resteraunt up a little side street! I had the steak which was humongous and the garlic mushrooms are to die for! A three course meal sets you back Eight euros, and the drinks are cheap as well! Loads of food, couldnt eat it all!
Did the wrong hand sign, DER!!!!
We loved it here, food was fab!
We ate here a lot, the best deal was the three course meal for 12 Euros, my daughter loved the spag bol, but if your on a budget they do a mean ham cheese and mushroom hot baguette and chips for three euros!
Tried the greek stuff as well, that was lovely, and you get a free shooter and the staff are really friendly!
Our rep informed us of the seaweed but May is seaweed season and there were mounds of it on the beach and floating on the sea! The hotels did come out and rake it up but it still wasnt very pleasant! If you need a beach though, go on the Blue Lagoon Boat Trip and do the champagne diving!
Great day out and the sea and beaches are gorgeous!
Absolutely fantastic day out! Beautiful beaches, great food (chicken, salad, humous, ttatziki and fresh bread and wine!).First beach was lovely, the sea was absolutely amazing! The Blue Lagoon was awesome, I am 35 and jumped off the top of the boat and couldnt wait to get back for another go, i was pushing the teenagers out of the way! This trip made my holiday!
Just got back from Kavos this morning, this bar is great, BOGOF on drinks and free slammers as well!
Great DJ and top tunes!
Went to Kavos on the 7th May and had pissing down rain for three days. Apparently it had been raining there four days before we got there as well. The next three days were glorious, but then the rain started again in the mornings and then the weather improved at about 3.00pm.
Best place in Kavos for your English Fry Up! Three and a half Euros for the full monty, and if you get peckish during the day, get one of their freshly made baguettes to take out. They do great food on an evening as well, cheap and cheerful, both English and Greek dishes!
Just came back on 14.5.04.Pennys is great, you can eat a three course meal here for ten euros if you try hard! If your on a budget, try the veggie baguette which is three and a half euros and is a huge baguette filled with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese served with big fat chips and salad, and you get a free slammer, and the staff are fabulous!
Had to tell you about this place, you get a three course meal for Seven Euros, about £4.20. You can choose from garlic mushrooms (bloody gorgeous), soup then chicken fillets, steak, sunday roast or veggie lasagne, then for pud its ice cream (complete with sparklers) or apple pie and ice cream. The only fault I could find was that there was far too much food to eat, and it could have been a little hotter, but you have to try it to believe it, the steak and chicken were lovely and all for £4.20!!!!!!!! Its a bit hard to find but its just before 42nd street, on the other side of the road, up a little street!
Been here twice now and I love it! Its about one mile from the madness that it Kavos, its very quiet and small and set in part of the forest. The studio apartments are very small and basic but suited us for the week, we didnt spend much time in them.
Absolutely fantastic if you are looking to chill out during the day away from Kavos in lovely surroundings, the pool area is small but the pool is immaculate and you really couldnt wish to be anywhere nicer. Bar prices are OK, the food is excellent and very reasonabley priced, ommlette and chips was about two and a half euros and the cocktails 4 euros, which is cheaper than town prices.
OK, this place is quite a walk from Kavos, but its a great walk and you need to see the fire flys on a night and see the bats and frogs.
If you go, please say Hello to Haris the barman, he is lovely!
Sorry but the beach in May in Kavos was minging. I know its seaweed season but the stuff was piled up in metre high piles all along the edge of the sea and the sea was completely full of it (you could not get to the sea because of the seaweed) There were even trucks carrying it by the truck load away. Maybe this beach is nicer without the seaweed (and the bottles and trash) in high season but I would give it a miss in May!
Just came back from Kavos this morning, had a peek in the Morfeas as my mum and dad had stayed there. It looked fab!!! Lovely pool area and its set in nice gardens. Its about a 20 metre walk from the high street so your not on top of all the noise and same for the supermarket ( the old lady in Chandris Supermarket is cool!). Nearest bar to Morfeas is ten yards away called Cheers, which will provide you with your football, Eastenders etc, and your only a five minute walk from the main square.
Have fun cos I love Kavos!
Just got back this morning, The Barn is ace!!!! Cheap drinks and gorgeous bar men!
Hope you all have a wicked time in Kavos, I did!
sorry, but this place is crap. the owner wouldnt stop trying to kiss me, dity old git and the pr's were far too pushy, insulting you when you wouldnt go in. the "free" slammer was something that tasted like turps and the alcohol they out in the cocktails would strip twenty year old varnish. they have a podium in the centre of the the bar, which they keep on setting fire to (shame they didnt set fire to the two dirty minging scrubbers who were dancing on it. the sign on the front of the bar says it all "we accept w**kers, pissheads etc", give it a miss and make your way up to edelweiss, the barn and bonkers!
Absolutely wonderful! Wonderful bar-men and great DJ! Hiya Sweaty Tony!!!! The bloke who own this bar are the funniest men ever! Prepared to be teased unmercilessly. Drinks are great, dont know whats in them jelly shots though!!!! The strawberry dacquiris here are divine and we had a fab night at the Baloon Party!
Just come back today, been here three times now and ITS FAB! Harris, Timios and Nikos are fab, foods great, drinks bit dear, but they dont mind if you nip to the shop and buy it from there (shops 5 meters away).
Got to Kavos July 1st and it was over 100 degrees! Weather was stunning, absolutely wonderful, over 100 everyday with a lovely breeze!
Best day of our holiday! Sit at the front of the boat and dangle your legs in the surf! Beach was lovely, peeps were moaning they had to pay 3 Euros for sun beds, the BBQ was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted, mind you it was 2.00pm by the time we had eaten and I had no brekkie! Roast chicken, salad, tzaziki and bread and loads of cheap plonk!
Just returned from Kavos and this place is fantastic! Waiters recognised us from last year! Three course meal for 8 Euros, I had Cheese Saganaki (fried cheese) absolutely gorgeous! Chicken Kebabs and Baklava (OMG that stuff is to die for).
Best fried breakfast, not like others swimming in grease! This place does wonderful baguettes as well!
Sadly not the nicest beach we have been on,sea was full of black seaweed and not very clear!
Maddest bar in Kavos! Bit seedy and scruffy but cheap drinks and good atmosphere!
Hiya to the PR from Leeds and also the cute barman from Leeds! Miggy lasses had fun!
This has got to be the best place to eat in Kavos! We went for a week and ate there five times!
Elli is set out of main Kavos about a 15 minute walk. Its set out beautifully and the pool is open all hours for late night swimming. The prices of the food are great and drinks are cheap and they have Sky Television and also show movies and things like Peter Kay!
Morpheus is set outside the main street of Kavos, about 100 yards from where the pubs etc start. Its really is a lovely place to stay, the apartments are wonderful and there is a lot of entertainment! The pool party is wicked 15 Euros and the bass the DJ has is heard for miles! The pool area is lovely and its ideal if you are there to party!
this place is bonkers! great atmosphere but watch out for the dj, he will take the p**s out of you!
Absolutely wonderful! The trip costs 20 Euros and is worth every penny! The lunch was wonderful, huge chicken done on the BBQ, salad, tzaziki and bread and loads of cheap plonk!
