| We've just returned from the Sunrise. Very nice owners but they need a refurb A bath is OK if you can keep the water in. The hot tap was hot hot hot and the cold was on go slow. We had to wear ear plugs and our harbour view was obscured by plantation. Even though we asked for an upper floor and paid under occupancy to get a private balcony, we got the only ground floor apartment and our balcony was also access on the widest bit for the owners. Lovely people though they were, it was hardly private. We were given a studio at first and spent 2 sticky hours walking round Kassiopi waiting for the unfortunate couple to come back who were allocated our apartment by mistake. Nice pool though. Won't be going back. |

| My husband and I have just come back from another brilliant week in Kassiopi and this time we stayed at the Sunrise. The location of these apartments is fantasic, right above the harbour and only a few minutes walk to the square. The accomodation is basic but it is cleaned 3 times a week and had everything we needed (small hob and grill, kettle, plenty of crockery and pans etc.) The pool is brilliant, lovely and clean and at the back of the apartments so peaceful too with views of the mountains. |

| My husband and I went to Michaelangelo apartments last year. As ours was a last minute deal we were in one of the older rooms which was clean and tidy and had all we needed but dark and old fashioned. That did not bother us though. The cleaners were in regularly and even washed our breakfast things up which we felt very guilty about!! The facilities were excellent, the pools lovely and the staff v v friendly. The only down side is it is a good ten minute walk into the centre of Kassiopi which is fine strolling down of an evening but not so pleasurable when you are coming home in the dark after too much Metaxa!! |

Has anyone stayed at the Michelangelo Apartments in Kassiopi? I'm just wondering whether to book them. They are in the Portland brochure. I want to go in September. If anyone knows what they are like, I would be interested in knowing.
Many thanks. |

Best Apartments we have stayed at in Kassiopi so far (4th time there). Clean Sheets, Big Fluffy BATH towels and a BATH!!! Maria is very friendly and has thought of everything (loved the doorstops!). Her dog looked after us and was a great guard dog, but how does he know who the residents are? We will be back next year if not sooner. Lovely pool but sunbeds should be free! |
