I totally disagree with other people i thought the service was great and the staff were lovely friendly people. i also thought the rooms were clean and was well looked after by the staff. We have been going now for 3 years and going back in a few days( We will see if it is still well loked after)the greek night and quiz was a lot of fun and i would go and see it over and over again! We were aloud a kettle in our room. |

My husband and I stayed in Roda in September and although we did not stay here we ate here in the restaurant on several occasions, one of which was the weekly Greek night. This was great, anyone who can get my husband up and dancing must have something special!!! About the restaurant, the food was really delicious and the service excellent too. Saw a fabulous sunset over the sea one night whilst eating dinner. Reasonably priced, impeccable service. Also have to comment on Nikos who worked in the bar/restaurant. He was a very funny and friendly guy!! |

I stayed at the Coral in August for a week. I have been to Corfu and Roda many times and although not stayed at this hotel before, I have had the use of itsbeach bar and restaurant. So I knew I was in for a treat!!
Probably the best bits of this hotel are the outdoor areas. The pool area is nice, the pool itself is clean.
The balcony had beautiful bright pink flowers draping over it, all the apartments look out towards the sea or the mountains and the lovely garden. The area arround the apartments was so clean and well kept. There is direct access to each apartment from outside, which is lovely.
The hotel has very light and airy and spacious. Such a wonderful change from hotels with dark corridors!
There are all the facilities you need to enjoy your stay. Snack bar by the pool - the food is simple and good, excellent value for money.
Restaurant with Greek food and very good quality. A little expensive compared to other restaurants in the area but at least what I ate there was fresh not like the food I had in a restaurant on the beach of Roda itself.
There is a bar which will stay open as long as you want to drink, 24 hour reception, safety deposit boxes, exchange and fans for hire. There is pool and some video games.
The rooms are basic but adequate. Most importantly they are clean. There is air conditioning .
The hotel is ideally located for the village centre, but in a very quiet area with a stunning view of the beach. You can use a little shortcut down a track at the front of the hotel, it's about a 5 minute stroll into the heart of the village.
I would definately recommend the Iris to anybody who is not too concerned with having a basic room, I think it's value for money that cant be beaten!!!

just back from coral , had amazing time so much so we will be back sept.
the hotel is family run ,which is really good .coral _ perfect localle 2mins walk from centre of roda. directly on waterfront .rooms with seaview cant be beat ,its very own restuarant which caters for all .from traditional greek to any european cuisine all is catered.
the owner nikos is a gem along with his wife effie ,son dimitrius and nikos resturant manager.these people along with some new friends made this the best holiday ever.
we noticed when we were there ,that they had many regulars ,which we thought was great ,hopefully after years of travelling ,we have found our place and im sure we will be regulars ,too this special place

| We stayed in the Coral Hotel in October 2004. Roda itslef was a lovely, quiet and relaxed resort and we made many friends there. However the staff and the owners of the hotel were an absolute nightmare. We complained about the food on the first night and from then on, when not totally ignoring us, the staff were extremely hostile towards us. There were numerous other guests who experienced this treatment, even elderly couples in their seventies and eighties. Be aware of the waiter Nikos, he is very childish and goes in the huff if you are not totally captivated by him. Also the staff and owners take umbrage if you don't go to their Greek Nights or anything else that they've got arranged for you to spend a fortune at. The owner of the hotel is well known by other business owners in the area and is generally disliked. I would recommend Roda, but definitely not the Coral Hotel. If you do visit Roda be sure to go to Maggies in the Old Town. Des and his wife, Maggie are very friendly and the food is great. |

| 11/10/04 just returned from the coral hotel in roda corfu. Not very impressed at all.The rooms were very dirty indeed, even when cleaned. The breakfast was total rubbish, tea and coffee tasted realy bad,the breakfast cereal was of very poor quality,if you need a good breakfast go to the restarant Nikos in Roda itself.Nikos from the hotel was a total pain always on at you to come to the hotels BBQs GREEKNIGHT or quiz night most annoying. They dont like you to have your own kettle in your room, they go in the huff and dont speak to you. This hotel only want 30 to 40 year olds who will spend all thier time and money in the hotel. This is the worst service and accomadation we have ever stayed in and we have been to Corfu five times. |

we stayed at the coral june 2004, thankgoodness it was only for one week. The bathroom was appalling could not see through the mirror for dirt, the apartment was grubby, there was no tea or coffee making facilities, you are supposed to buy all beverages from the hotel, we had to hide our kettle as the owner did not like us using his electricity and we had to sneak bottles of water passed the reception area. Other holiday makers were told off if caught with any liquid refreshments. The owner and his wife would make a good hitler substitute, the staff were not to blame as it must have been horrible to work for him. He is well talked about by other greeks in the resort and not well liked. We have been coming to roda for ten years now, unfortunately our usually accommadation was booked, it is the worst place in roda to stay and lets the people of roda down. If you happen to stay in the coral please add your comments there were at least 12 parties who felt the same as we did. The resort its self is excellant for friendliness of the people, small enough to get to know them over your short stay. The sea is clean, the beach sometimes has seaweed but this is cleaned up every morning. |

| Thank you Nikos, Dimitris and all at the Coral for giving Emily and me the best holiday we could possibly ask for! Accommodation is good and location is ideal, although the people are the best part of all. If you are looking to meet good people who you will want to stay in touch with long after your week/fortnight here, then this is the place to stay. It's especially good for couples and families... quiet and relaxed enough for everyone to enjoy, but friendly and social enough to keep everyone occupied well into the evening (and night!). Look out especially for Nikos... is he Albanian, or is he Scottish? Nobody quite knows for sure but, either way, he is without doubt the best bar-tender in Europe and will guarantee you some unforgetable (albeit very hazy) late nights which you can always sleep off in the sun during the day. We will definitely be back here next year! |

| It was the first time we had been to Corfu. We really enjoyed it, Niko and Dimitris really made the holiday. The Hotel was clean and the rooms basic but comfortable, food excellent as well as the service. The booze flowed every night and they made my 40th birthday a night to remember, along with the friends we made while we where there. Looking forward to going back next year same time. Nikos does not suit the England top I gave him as much as I did. Seems strange seeing an Albainian in an England shirt but at least he is proud of it. Hope to see you all soon next year. |
