Many years ago (approx 1988) we stayed at some apartments called the Anastassia Beach Apartments just about a mile's walk outside Acharavi( to the North). It was a 3 storey block, all on its own (well, then it was!) with a garden leading straight on to the beach.The owner was Manolis Bacarosos.The apartments were basic but the location was fantastic. We frequented what was then called the 'Red Lion' bar (not what you're thinking) run by very friendly young Greek brothers.I would love to take my family back there but cannot find any trace of the apartments at all - can anyone help? |

we enjoyed the beachside bungalows for an number of years but have been unable to find where to book them in last few years..
if anyone can help with where to book i would be grateful for their help.. i have tried the above link unsuccesfully |

| whent to beachside bungalows september 2003 it was fabulous very clean. vangelis the owner was very helpful and always there if you needed him. the resturants especialy the pumphouse, anitas and valantines should not be missed.very friendly place especially with children. i would recomend it to evrybody im hopefully going back this year. |

| Can thoroughly recommend Beachside Bungalows .... only snag is ... who on earth will have the contract for it next year ? We stayed there for 2 weeks this year (May 19th onwards) and were so impressed when we got back to UK tried to book up for next year, but my local travel agent cannot find any mention of it for next year. We are hoping to be able to find out something from somewhere. We have cheered ourselves up in the meantime by booking up for another 2 weeks in Acharavi staying at the Matoula Apts/Studios in a few weeks time ...... just love Corfu. Stu and Jan. |

| The Beachside Bungalows sound really good.Have stayed at the Matoula Apts in Acharavi and thought they were top notch - very spacious - Does anyone have any idea how to book the beachside bungalows?? or the Matoula Apts?? |

This is the ideal location for anyone looking for a beach holiday.They are situated right on the beach but not far from bars, restaurants etc...
Overall they are the best apartments i have stayed in, in a perfect location, what more could you want from your holiday!!!!!!!!! |

Have been here for the last 15 years so it must be good. Bungalows are right on the beach and next to the bar!!!! The beach and area is safe for children and there are no steps so ideal for buggies and wheelchairs. The apartments are clean and Vangelis the owner lives on site and is very helpful.
The resort is very quiet and ideal for families with young children.
