I've just returned from a weeks stay in PaleoKatritsa - what a week that was!!!!!!!!! The Hotel was great, but what made it was the Hospitality shown! Nia and George made my family and I feel very welcome! Nothing was too much for them and they were always willing to help! I'll definatly be going back there, much to the disapointment of a few of the other Customers!!!!!!!! p.s, Nia makes one lovley egg on toast! X | ||||||||||

The success of this pool bar is due to the generous spirit of barman George, who is happy to stay open all hours to satisfy the needs of boozing inconsiderate Brits. So, come on Brits, think of George and don't keep him up to 3am. He does have a life you know !

 Paleokastritsa has no centre as such so no matter wher you stay you have a walk or not it's up to you how adventures you are. Phivos was a lovely place to stay everyone was friendly, the pool was good and it also had nice grounds. It is basic as is all greek appartments! but very clean and is close by to restaurants and a few shops and bars. It is set back from the main road but this causes little noise, to walk to the harbour from here where the main beach is would take 30 mins. but there are closer beaches, bars and restaurants. In a taxi to the harbour it would take about 5mins, so it's up to you but i would recomend it to anyone visiting Paleokastritsa (a very beautiful place!).If anyone wasn't to see any photo's of the appartments email me at lizzymountain@aol.com | ||||||||||

Phivos had just 14 rooms overlooking a nice garden with a fountain. It has a lovely pool and bar with mountain views. Supermarket and a handful of tavernas are close at hand, although the nearest beach is a bit of a trek in the sun. We tried neighbouring Oasis (yes its true, the swordfish is excellent) and Spiros tavernas; both highly recommended and good value for money. You should not go home without a visit to the Acapulco bar...just a few minutes walk from Phivos past the Aris supermarket, its clearly signposted. They have a bar with a tropical feel; amazing views across the sea with comfy chairs and even swing-chairs and hammocks. Serve cocktails and the cheapest beers we came across in paleo!! If you walk down the steps from the bar, you can go for a swim off the rocks. Don't forget your snorkelling gear as the sea is crystal and full of fish! | ||||||||||

ive just come back from a 2week stay at phivos and it was one of the best holidays ive ever been on!!it was exelent. thankyou to nia and george for being so kind and willing to help!! miss you! i really enjoyed hanging round the bar talking to george! and i got so many good memories!! i recommend it to everyone! thanks xxxxxx | ||||||||||

| Have just returned once again from Phivos absolutely fantastic nothing changes i.e. people,cleanliness,location, views,and of course most importantly NIA & GEORGE IT WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITH OUT THESE 2 LOVELY PEOPLE. They both have a unique way of making this holiday very special and always wanting to return just like my family. Great Weather always in MAY & SEPTEMBER. Every night a GEORGE COCKTAIL then onto OASIS TAVERNA for a great meal. BIAS NOT AT ALL SEE YOU ALL AGAIN NEXT YEAR 2005 CAN'T WAIT !!!!! | ||||||||||

| my partner and i stayed at the phivos studios in september 2003 and it was one of the best holidays we've had.the staff nia and george was so friendly we became good friends.the accomodation is very clean with a great pool and pool bar.we travelled with libra and will certainly travel with them again,excell airways were brill and the libra rep angie was friendly and helpfull and the company itself was very effiecent.i will be booking to go phivos again in 2004 and look forwards to the holiday. | ||||||||||

| Just returned from a fortnight's stay at the Phivos Studios in Paleokastritsa with a large family crew - and it was excellent! They have a great pool as well as a tv lounge to watch any good sporting events. We found the apartments to be very clean and the overall service of the staff was wonderful. We made good friends with them and you can expect some great cooking and snacks from Nia and friendly service from the young Nicos, Stathis and Anthimos. Then from early evening until late, George will take care of your needs at the bar - cocktails are very much his speciality!! Hats off to them all!! There are a few good bars in the area as well as a good supermarket a mere 100 yards up the road. There are also a few very good 'tavernas' to choose from - the cooking is special! One other great little find a few hundred yards down the road was a place called 'La Grotta', situated in a lovely little cove. If snorkeling is your thing, or using the waterside diving board, then that's the place! (Not to mention those who dare jumping off the cliffside!!) All that to say - we had a fantastic time! | ||||||||||

| Did just what it said on the tin. Brilliant chill out location. Spiros taberna just next door with excellent food. Jimmys bar 300 yards away. For a bit more energetic night Ipsos half an hour away. Went with Libra, excursions a bit naff apart from the castaway beach day but reps good and friendly. | ||||||||||

| Mollie Libra Holidays go to phivos aprtments but I would also recommend Anemona Apartments which are 2 mins away. | ||||||||||
