Excellent location, quiet area, very close to a small beach, about 15 min walk from the main beach, plenty of restaurants and little shops. No clubs or busy bars though. Great for a quiet relaxing holiday! | |

The Taxi Drvier apartments are fairly basic as you'd expect, but very pleasant and in a perfect location near to various beaches and a short walk from the main part of Paleokastritsa. They are set in gardens a little way back from the road so aren't too noisy. Next door is a nice little supermarket and next door to that, the Taverna Nautika which in our experience serves the best food in town.
It's worth walking up the path through the olive groves to the village of Lakones which overlooks the bay, and along to La Grotta, a rocky bay, ideal for swimming and snorkelling or just having a drink and admiring the coastline.

| my wife broke her ankle in paleo in 2001, while staying at taxi drivers. the family could not have been kinder. Vassillis even took us into Corfu Town for treatment. Their kindness saved what could have been a disasterous holiday. Would recommend here for a taste of unspoilt Corfu!!! | ||||||||||
