Yes,I will be back.I have been in Sidari for 7 years on and off and I can tell you that Loxides is the BEST apartments to stay. If you want Watneys Red Barrel and fish and chips, stay home, but if you want to be entertained by a genuinly nice couple, Yanni and Richelle, and their son Peter, then come on holiday to Loxides. You English people that just want egg and chips all the time, open your minds, get a life. Yanni is the perfect host and Richelle works her wee cotton socks offf. Peter, treat yourself to a curly wurly!!!!!!!!!! Great holiday, great people, we will be back, but not next year as we are celebrating 25 years of marriage and are going to tour France for 3 weeks but the kids will be back, that's for sure. We had 2 apts, hi to Shaun, Heather, Lee and Lisa. Yanni, we will fall for your tricks once, but not again. For anyone who is going to loxides!!!

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday and I would definately not recommend anyone stay at the Loxides appartments. The owners have no manners or enthusiam what so ever, and are extremely rude. I have been reading the comments and read what Jemma, the rep, says, and she is spot on! The location is ok, (make sure you visit Blondies opposite), a bit smelly from the canal and swarming with mosquitos. The pool area is of a average standard but the appartments are very basic. If you like staying somewhere where the sheets don't fit the beds, the towels are ripped, blankets burned then you'll be ok. The cleanliness is not very good either, cleaning with dirty mobs etc never is though! However there did seem to be some nice places to stay in Sidari, just not the Loxides.

Richele & Yanni - what can I say.  Do not read any of the nasty comments made on here.  Richele & Yanni are the most nicest people you can meet.  The apartments are brilliant.  We went as a party of 7 with a 10 year old, 23 month old & 21 month old.  The kids really enjoyed their holiday. 

The Minton family (304) & The Mulcahy family (403) - stayed from 03.06.05 to 18.06.05 - didn't want to come home!!

Hi Its Viki - Just got back From Corfu on Monday. Had a great time. We stayed in room 307 and I have to say we were really pleased with everything. The rooms were basic but had everything we need and were cleaned daily. Richelle and Yianni are brilliant. They work really long hours and yet still always manage to be in a good mood! Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt looked after. All the staff were really friendly. My daughter Neve had a great time, playing in the pool and on the swings.

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Loxides(Vicki moved out and we moved in)) and found that whilst the appartments were ok everything was far too British also why does everyone have to drag furniture and slam doors all the time when they're on holiday, perhaps we're just too quiet but it gets right up my nose! It was our second time in Corfu and our last visit was much better.  Why do people go abroad  and want everything the same as at home but with a bit of sun?  Anyway we'll probably go back to Kos next year as we find it far more "Greek".  Just one last thing does Olympic employ the oldest and doziest rep's on the island as whilst our rep Emma was ok(we didn't have much to do with her) she didn't seem very happy in her job, and Molly, go home love you're just not suited to the life of a holiday rep.

just come back today day from the loxides apartments.We went in a party of four we stayed in 203 and 202 the room are ok but  get very hot of night . but they are clean and people are very helpful with you . Sidari is lovely there is something for everyone two do. (From sitting in pubs watching flims to watersports) Food and drinks are very cheap and very nice as well .The beach is a 2 min walk from your apartment and is lovly . ok the bad things is the cleaners do not leave you any toilet papter (bt they do leave u towels so u nt need to take them) . and the people who sell roses and abits dnt leave u alone at all . but it was great

HI ive booked to go to Loxides Apartments in Sidari in aug for one week with my husband and our two boys age 10 and 9 years. Are these apartments suitable for families? Also can anyone give me peace of mind regarding the comments by reps regarding "death trap pool and rooms 101 and 102". Is there anything to be concerned about or are the comments just sour grapes? read some of the comments on loxidas apts most r gd but few not so gd i booked 14 days holiday with hubby today we r booked into loxidas apts been to sidari before had a brill time all i am looking for in apts complex is quiet time when needed and bustle time when needed comments say owners not very nice and apts can be dirty 101 102 rooms r the worst can some 1 plz put my mind at rest and honestly let me know what to expect i got some disability problems and i dont want to be worrying about coming to loxidas i hope it is as gd as when i was there before so any1 can put my mind at rest wud be gratefull. liz xxxx

spot on,everything and everyone was excellent at the loxides app.cant wait to get back in 2005 for my 5th year running.
yanni and michelle were great and their two geogous sons.
every years seems to get better,and there are so many repeat guests so we end up meeting up with the same people every year which really adds to our holiday.
we allways request our app.room 102 which is not allways avail.but we love that app.for us is perfect.
this year our holiday was spoilt a little bit by four young girls staying in the app.101 next door to us, all they did was complain to the owners about anything and everything and to finish it off they came back to their app. making loud noise having wild parties,they even burnt the owners table in their app. and when they were asked to pay for it by yanni the owner they was very rude to himn and starting swearing at him- then they had the cheek to go back to the u.k. complaing and adding comments on a website telling people how rude the owners are.
loxides is great take it from me,im booked for the 6th year to go back and visit loxides and all it lovely staff.

I STAYED AT THE LOXIDES APP.MAY 2003 AND MAY 2004, AND IM GOING BACK AGAIN 2005. SO THIS SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.
I THOUGHT THAT LOXIDES WAS A PERFECT PLACE FOR EVERYBODY,I CANT THINK OF ONE COMPLAINT AGAINST THE COMPLEX OR THE OWNERS THAT WERE ALL SPOT ON.
THE ONLY THING THAT LETS LOXIDES DOWN IS SOME OF THE REPS AND HOLIDAYMAKERS THAT SHOW THEIRSELVES UP AND PUT THE ENGLISH RACE DOWN.
THERE WAS ONE REP CALLED GEMMA (2003) SHE WAS DISCUSSING,SHE WAS ONLY HELPFUL TO ALL THE DISHY MALE HOLIDAYMAKERS,AND THE REST OF US WAS GRATEFUL TO HAVE YANNIS AND RICHELL THERE TO HELP US WITH ANY PROBLEMS THEY ARE BOTH GREAT.
THE OWNERS TAKE A LOT OF ABUSE FROM SOME OF THE HOLIDAYMAKERS,AND I HONESTLY DONT KNOW HOW THEY COPE,IVE WITNESSED SO MUCH OF IT AND IM ASHAMED TO CALL MYSELF ENGLISH AT TIMES LIKE THAT.

Taverna Agni is about 45 minute drive from Sidari. But it is well worth the drive. Hope this helps.

what a shambles...the only good thing about loxides is the location. the rooms are lower than the 3star advertised, cleaners do a halfway job, one day they left the door to our apartmenmt open..and there was no apoligies from the owners. yianny is ok, but his wife is a complete b***h, moody, unhelpful unfreindly and catty. dont even bother stayin here if you expect hospitatlity....

Me and my friend Helene have just returned home from a week at Loxides, Sidari. We had the best time ever and we are so depressed that we are at home in this miserable country.

Everyone at Loxides were so nice and made us feel like part of the family. Note to anyone planning on having a drink at the Loxides bar, look out for Yanni's bar tricks - they are mean !

The place is just perfect and we will definately be returning in the future.

Big shout out to Pedro and Yanni if you ever visit this site and also Roy, Rita and the rest of the Sheffield crew, thanks for looking after us and nursing our hangovers - get in touch if you ever visit this site.

If anyone is going this year, you will have the bestest time there and also down by the main bars. The cocktails are excellant but lethal. Main bars to go to is Lemon Bar, Shakers and Caesars night club is excellant. Look out for Andy the Porn Star ha ha

Great apartments..owners very helpful and friendly. Pool is nice, and the apartments are located in the nicer part of Sidari, literally 1 min from beach and 5 mins walk into centre of Sidari.

Me & Phil have just got back from 2 weeks at these apartments. They are in a great location and were really nice. We had a ground floor studio and it was fine. The owners were really lovely and nice to us. Sidari is lovely the beach is 30 seconds away and the town is lively and friendly. A nice place to stay.

Just got back yesterday after staying in Sidari at the Loxides Apartments with my girlfriend for 1 week and we fully enjoyed every single minute of it. We thought that the apartments where one of the nicest ones around and thought that the location was excellent. Literally 50m from the beach and only a 5 minute walk from the bars in Sidari. The nightlife is perfect. Not too busy or commercialised but easily provides and excellent night out on the booze (recommend Lemon bar).
You can either walk to the centre of Sidari via the beach or by the road going past the many restaurants (try Cactus Jacks for big portions or the Chinese next to Loxides Apartments and get the Spring Rolls - they are gorgoeus).
The Apartments are very clean and spacious with good sized balconies. The pool is an excellent size and the location of the apartments is unbeatable.
Would recommend this holiday to anybody. Great for young couples and families.

We recently spent 2 weeks at the Loxides and found the apartment to be clean, spacious and quite well equiped. The pool area is nice, especially for kids. The Loxides is in the nicer area of Sidari with the beach just across the road. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby but noise was never a problem. All in all I recommend it. The only minor drawback is the close proximity to the 'smelly bridge'

Got back yesterday, my girlfriend and I thought Loxides was excellent. Great location, clean, secure and nice pool area.

The resort itself is ideal for couples/families. Sidari can be whatever you want it to be. Mozzies were a pain, as were the gypsies selling junk on a night but overall a great 2 weeks.

Cactus-Jacks and Venezia were the best restaurants by a mile. Sea Breeze was good value and the rest we tried were rubbish!

OUR FRIENDS STAYED AT THESE APARTMENTS, WE STAYED AT THE SUMMERTIME. SPENT MOST OF OUR TIME HERE. POOL AREA IS REALLY GOOD. OWNERS ARE REALLY FRIENDLY - ESPECIALLY THEIR SON PETER - WHO MY DAUGHTER GOT ON WITH!!!! FOOD IS EXCELLENT. WILL RETURN AGAIN - WENT BEGINNING OF JUNE - RESORT A BIT QUIET - WATCH OUT FOR MOZZIES.

hi, we have just returned yesterday we went for two weeks and had a brilliant time. we went last year and hope to go next year. yianni kept us well entertained in the evening whith his tricks and tales while, richelle and alex kept us well fed and up to date with all the gossip in the day. we hope you like your hair richell and your frappes are the best in corfu. don't worry pedro i'll get you back next year!!

We have just returned from the Loxides Apartments and there were great. The first floor apartments are newer and more modern than downstairs. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Sidari itself is very nice although the main beach could do with a little bit of a tidy. The pool, pool area and pool bar are very clean and inviting. For meals in the evening, We would highly recommend Cactus Jacks, Sea Breeze (on the main street), the service is excellent and you get great portions! The Three Little Pigs on the corner from the apartments is also very nice and the entertainment they put on each night is well worth a visit (always between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.) Canal d'amour must be visited as it is only a few minutes walk away and the views are breathtaking. Overall a great holiday. (watch the mozzies and wasps!!, never been bit in Greece until this holiday!!)

The Loxides Apartments are definetely the best ones in Sidari. They are so clean and modern and the location is brilliant as everything is within walking distance and is a place for all ages. The family who run these are very friendly and helpful.
Me and my boyfriend Rob got engaged there in July 2003 and had great time and hope to return there sooner rather than later.

This was our 3rd year in a row and we loved it all over again. You wont meet nicer people than Richelle & Yanni and wee Peter is as always a star. Costa, the older son, always adds to the atmosphere when he gets a chance. Every one of the family, plus all their friends had a ball and we hope we'll get back next year to make it 4 in a row.

Can anyone please inform me of the transfer time from the airport to Sidari ? There are various different times in the brochures. Would it be advisable to get a taxi from the airport instead of the courtesy bus?

Can you pleased confirm the fax number of the Loxides Apartments

Our apartment on the ground floor was really damp and smelly. Those above seemed to be OK. Pool area was fine which was a good thing as the beach needed a good clean and was not very inviting. Sidari is not the resort for you if you are looking for Greece!!!

Hi i'm from Blackpool, England.
People say come to Blackpool for a holiday but I say WHY?
Blackpool is NOWHERE near as good as corfu I have not yat been to sidari and the loxides apartments but am going is may 2004.
I am taking your word for it and will probably have a wild time.

Can you send me more information on accomodation availability especialy for June 2003 and any pictures that available on the hotel and /or resort

Just a bit of advice for taking under 5s we took a buggy for our daughter last year she was 5 then as Sidari is a long stretch of road with restaurants etc and little ones can get a bit tired in the evening.

My husband, four year old daughter and I have booked these apartments in August. I would like to know if they are near the resort centre of Sidari? How long to walk to the main resort area?, as with a four year old walking a long distance every day can be tiring.

Went to Loxides last year and going back June 2003. The best place weve ever stayed at. Excellent hosts Yianni and Richelle. Yianni kept us up to the early hours with his tales and tricks. Counting down the days till we go back.

Simply put, the best place I've ever stayed in. The nicest staff, and probably the most heart-felt welcome and goodbye I've got since I left college early. I definitely recommend this as one of the best Hotels in Corfu, if not the best. Excellent staff, accommodation, everything. I'm sure to be coming back again soon! I'm bringing my friends and family too!
